Great hotel for the price.

Great hotel for the price. Only one issue was that in our room the hot water took like 10 minutes to heat up. Clean and beautiful interior. The grounds were quite nice as well.

Pretty but a the decor is a bit tired still a great value...

Great value for the price. Except to raise revenue don't understand the need to charge for overnight parking. An $8- overnight or a $15- valet fee was excessive and not noted prior to booking.

Almost perfect.....

We were very pleased with our stay at The International Plaza Resort & Spa. We were attending a wedding that was being held at the Plaza and that too was very, very nice! There were two things that kept it from being "Perfect" the first was that I reserved a room which was supposed to look over the garden & pool and it actually looked over the back parking lot. The second negative was the lack of help in the very busy breakfast buffet. The one person making both the omelets and waffles had a long line at their station and no help in sight. However, besides those two things we truly loved the facility and accommodations! Definitely recommend it to all!!

not happy

we weren't happy with our stay. we booked a room with king bed. we were told by the receptionist during check in that we do have a king bed and we were at a roomw ith two full beds instead. we called the front desk and we were on the phone for a long time. we were upgraded but we paid for the upgrade and we were brought to a room for disabled clients. we stayed for the night and we thought that we're not gonna ruin our stay. but we are definitely not going back to that hotel and wont recommend it to any of our friends!!!

Awesome Hotel!

Love this hotel, the location was great, staff was very nice, the room was very clean. Highly recommended.

great location

The hotel was a great stay for the price. Somewhat noisy with the maids going by early in the morning and trying to get into the room. Otherwise the place was nice.

We stayed in two story section of the hotel which i am sure is the older and remodeled section of a nice looking property. Facilities were generally good. Our room however should have provided a microwave and refrigerator mainly because this area of the hotel is completely disconnected from the main hotel tower that houses food service, etc... Another issue is that the hallway is open to the outdoors which is not great because people stand outside your door and smoke and loiter. In fact, one evening I went out with my daughter to the ice machine and passed a smoker, we turned the corner to the ice machine and collected our ice and returned to the room. As we approached our room, this guy (the smoker from the hall) emerged from our room and when he saw us he said he had mistakenly entered our room. He then entered his own room which was the last door before the hall turned, exactly the door he had been smoking in front of when we had walked past. It turns out when he entered our room, he met with my husband and didn''t go any further. Obviously he had been looking for something to steal. In any case, my point is that in this type of set up, there is alot of loitering of unsavory characters in the halls, so I definitely would not stay in this area of the hotel again. I do not recommend based on these observations.

Great room, great location, exceptional price

Over all the international plaza was very nice. The room was awesome and it's right off international drive so it's a great location. When we got to our room the only thing that I could complain about is that we found the previous guests clothes behind the bathroom door. We called the front desk and they quickly came to remove it. For the price I paid for a two night stay, this hotel was great.

Needs Much Improvement

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Problems when I was there: 1) Telephone next to bed didn't always work. 2) Could not reach front desk on telephone--always busy. 3) Long wait trying to wait for service at front desk. 4) Help at front desk incompetent. 5) Restaurant flyers placed under door indicating lack of security and bugs able to get into room. 6) Spiders in room. 7) Caulking around bathtub very poor. I would never stay or recommend it under present management. Management is changing -- will become Doubletree in September. I like to think it will improve once that occurs.

Great room for the money.

I loved the hotel. I liked the swimming pools and jacuzzis. It was nice being in walking distance to Sea World. I would definitely return for another stay.

GREAT GREAT HOTEL!!!!

This hotel was AMAZING!!! Definitely got a GREAT deal on this hotel. THe accommodations were amazing, the staff are all very friendly. THe room we stayed in was very clean, very comfy, had a great view @ night of seaworld and aquatica....so you get to see the fireworks. The restaurants at the hotel were all good, food was great. Pool area is good, has a bar. We didn't want to leave the hotel..if you're looking for a relaxed visit, with nice amenities...definitely stay here.

Nice hotel, but

Nice hotel but the housekeeping was not good. No towels in room, no soap or shampoo. checked sheets when checked in and found used candy under blanket. Otherwise it was a nice hotel, pool was great and hotel is so close to seaworld. You just need to make sure housekeeping is doing their job. I would stay there again.
