EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

We got a great deal on 2 rooms. The only complaints we had, one room's AC unit froze up and leaked all over the floor, and it was that way when we got there. This hotel was a great facility for a family with 3 young children. The day-bed in the window sill was something we really liked about this hotel. The pool was clean and well-maintained. Though having to walk through the lobby to get to the elevator with small children and slippery feet can be challenging.

Hotel was very convienient to interstate access.. near restaurants.. breakfast was OK... frozen waffles, cereal, muffins.. could have been better.. but it was food.. pillows could use some updating.. like pancakes ! All in all.. would stay again.

Not bad for the money

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was fine, and didn't feel too cramped, even with me, my wife, a 5 year old, and a 2 year old. We weren't doing cart wheels, but we just needed a clean, quite place to sleep, which we got. I didn't sleep real well on the bed, with it being firmer than I'm used to, but that's not too surprising. The breakfast in the morning was nothing to write home about, but my boys loved the muffins (and were sad to leave them behind when we checked out), so it served us well. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I think we got our money's worth from the hotel, and it's location was great, as it was an easy drive to various places in Overland Park and in downtown KC.

Excellent hotel for the cost

We were a little cautious after reading about the "poor" location of the hotel. It was not visible from the highway but location was not poor! Very conveniently located on a main road made it easy to get around. Breakfast area was a little messy one day but there were lots of kids (not noisy at all) at the hotel so you could probably expect it. Staff was very nice and helpful, pool a great cool off spot...stay was definitely worth the price. I would stay at this hotel again absolutely.
