Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 12outstanding hotel, great staff.
The staff was great, I loved the room, restaurant and bar were great. I had a little trouble with the security key card in the elevator, but if that's my only complaint..... I will be back.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 12Great Location and Cool Hotel
The location of the Moonrise Hotel was incredible, especially if you are planning to shop and eat around the Loop. The hotel itself was very modern and the service was outstanding. I have two complaints. 1. When we first arrived to our room there was a weird smell. 2. We were across from the ice machine and the elevators. Of course wherever you stay, if you happen to be across from the ice machine and elevators there's going to be commotion. The smell, well that's valid. Even though the room did have a funk (which did go away or we became used to it, who knows.) I would definitely stay at the Moonrise again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 12A Great Stay.
A very nice chic, modern, reasonably priced hotel in the University City area. The rooftop bar has a great view of downtown St. Louis.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 12Excellent Botique Hotel
The moonrise was an excellent place to stay. It was located in the loop, which allowed us to shop without having to drive to any stores. Additionally, the restaurant was fantastic, and the rooftop lounge was a nice addition. The lounge music in the lobby, combined with the color changing wall and stairs, added to the overall experience.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 12...exceptional attitudes...
...everyone on staff at the MoonRise truly cares about "their" hotel and "their" guests...the hotel is quite impressive on its own but the "people experience" made our stay a memorable one...we will be back...soon!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 12Great location
Great location, The Loop is a wonderful neighborhood. Was surprised at the lack of a bathtub - or even a way to close the shower. We ended up with a wet bathroom floor every time we showered.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 12Swanky Hotel in a Great Location
First of all, the wireless internet, computer access, gym, parking and bottles of water were free. While that sounds like a small thing--it's also very rare, especially in such a nice and upscale looking hotel. The service was outstanding. Everyone who worked there did whatever they could to make our stay more enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful and very modern. The rooftop bar is also convenient and has a great vibe to it. As a 20-something it was perfect for me.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 12on the loop
we went to STL to meet friends in University City so this was the perfect location. If you're going to see the loop, the parks, and the museums this is the best area to stay, we avoided downtown all together and had a great weekend in STL. The hotel itself was great, nice rooms and rooftop bar. It was just what we were looking for.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 12Outside The Box
Quite different than any other Hotel we have stayed at before. Very Modern decor, completely new, very clean. New LG LCD TV, nice desk/table with all connections, wireless internet worked well even in the parking lot, beds were VERY NICE. Only complaints the shower has no door or curtain so water hits the tile floor, mini fridge would have been good although we did not ask if one was available,, may have been? Parking is valet for $14 for the stay, free parking is available but not guaranteed. Area can be traffic bound at times but plenty to do in walking distance and plenty of food as well. We will stay here again when needed.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 12An Extraordinary Lodging Experience!
If you are traveling to St Louis you must experience this hotel! Luxury at an affordable price! Kind and courteous staff! The lobby is art! Conveniently located in "The Loop" area near Washington University and all of the Forest Park attractions. Close to The Metrolink transit system. The rooms are to die for! HD flat panel TV's and the most wonderful hotel bed I have experienced! I will not consider another hotel when I visit The LOU!
