Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 47Very very nice
This was a very pleasant stay for my husband and me. The room was spotless, very quiet, everything in working order. Hotel employees extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 47Great______ (fill in blank it was all good!)
My husband and I had a very enjoyable experience at this hotel and would definetly stay here again if we came back to Toronto. The location was perfect for walking downtown, or to a subway 1 block away for longer journey's. The staff was great, very friendly and the bar/resturant staff was helpful to recommend local places for less crowded entertainment. The price was very reasonable through Hotels.com, the only complaint I would have is that we decided to extend our 4day visit one extra day and it was going to cost us more for 1 extra Monday night than it did for 2 nights at the weekend rate!?!? Maybe because we were in the heart of the business district? Thats the only reason I could think of that would make a monday night cost more than Friday and Saturday! Other than that little inconvience ,which I guess was poor planning on my part, I can say only good things about this hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 47Great value, location, service
Hotel staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Hotel is half a block from the city's main street, Yonge Street, and most of the city's main attractions are within walking distance. All rooms are suites, with flat screen TV in both the large living room and bedroom. Extremely large, clean rooms. You've got a mini-bar and refrigerator with a microwave. If you're looking for a hotel with breakfast, look elsewhere, but I love the place. Hotel restaurant is very good. Highly recommended.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 47Great Time in Toronto
We had a wonderful time at the Cambridge Suites. Great location, attentative staff and clean rooms. The little bar makes for comfortable, more intimate conversation. (Richard the bartender was great!) Suites had ample space. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 47Great location, but wasn't the outstanding hotel I was expecting..
When I booked my stay at the Cambridge Suites Hotel I was expecting something outstanding from reading the reviews. While the location turned out to be great, I don't agree with the hype that other reviewers made this hotel out to be. The room was decent and pretty clean, but you could definitely tell it needed some updates (our walls were peeling, the bathroom ceiling was falling apart, the overall look just old). The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to assist us with anything. They went out of their way to make our stay better. We were able to walk to mostly anything we did (with the most being just over a mile), and we enjoyed being close to the Yonge/Dundas square, Eaton Centre, etc. Overall, decent hotel and I would probably stay there again, but don't expect a 5 star stay or any extravagances.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 47Loved the suite
The suite was like a little apartment. We felt very comfortable just staying in the room. We were able to use the refridgerater and the microwave to bring in food bought at the local markets. Everyone there was very friendly.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 47Perfect location, excellent rooms
We had a Deluxe room on the 17th floor. The only bad part of our stay was cleaning service not getting to our room till 5:30 PM. The room itself was spotless, very comfortable and spacious. All the amenities listed were not only there but in great condition if not brand new. I especially appreciated being able to open the window (smoking room), having the sink mirror and wardrobe separate from the actual bathroom and being able to sleep in while my husband watched tv in the sitting room. We never once "stepped on each other's toes". The kitchenette area had a SS sink, a fridge and "real" silverware and china. The parking lot was well lit and secure (extra $)the internet was bit slow, bo as we pleased and the lot was well lit and secure. Location wise it could not be better. Just about everything is within walking distance and for those who need them, the subway and the trolley are just one block away. The rate was not exactly cheap but having stayed at other hotels in Toronto (and paying just about the same per night for a smaller room)I feel at Cambridge Suites we truly got our moneys worth. Cannot say anything about the in-house restaurant, as we did not dine there. The staff is incredibly corteous and efficient. Not 10 minutes after we checked in, someone showed up with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a "happy birthday" card for my husband. That is truly rare these days. This hotel will certainly be our first choice since now on.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 47Outstanding Hotel...
Our stay at this hotel was so comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I got a suite with a flat screen in each room. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great view of the city. I used the fitness center, which had state of the art equipment and a clean hot tub and sauna on the top floor, also beautiful view of Toronto. Everything was in walking distance and they have an enclosed parking ramp, which you have to pay for, but was a safe place to park. Overall, I will definitely be back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 47Great Hotel
We spent two nights here and it was great. The room was secluded enough not to hear any hallway noise, just the sirens on the street as usual. Within walking distance of Eaton Centre, Hockey Hall of fame, CN Tower, Rogers Centre and most theatres. Had a blast in Toronto and the smooth operation of the hotel made it better. Another cool option was the self-checkout from your room, great way to save time

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 47Great Hotel
My boyfriend and I went during the off season and had a great deal. Our suite was actually a corner which meant it had windows all the way around, which was awesome because we got to see Richmond Street. Also we liked how the room had 2 tvs, a fridge, and a sink. The front desk was a great help when we weren't sure about where to have dinner and gave great tourist advice. The hotel is close to everything and the CN Tower is only a 15 minutes walk, which is close. The hotel was quiet and also the housekeeping staff was great. Our housekeeper refilled our stock of coffee and tea everyday, which doesn't always happen at other hotels. The King bed was comfy and the layout of the suite was nice. At first parking was bit confusing because they don't have a valet, but once we found out that it was ok for us to park underground, everything was great. Plus at $20 Canadian a day for parking, it's a great deal as most nice hotels in Chicago are at least $35 USD a day. Loved the hotel and we hope to visit again soon!
