There isn't anything wrong that I can say about this place, the beauty, comfort, and service will exceed your expectations, I have stayed in many casino hotels in the past and this one is by far my favorate! The rooms are spectacular as well as the pool area! A must see if you haven't.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 18Totally Exceeded Our Expectations
Everything about our stay at the Ameristar Casino and Resort was amazing. The room was beautiful, bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big and very fancy. And on top of it all, it was afforable. The entire building (suite, lobby, casino...etc.) was very clean, and the employees were friendly. It was easy to find, and parking was easy. It was an altogether great experience, and can't wait to visit again. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 18Great Stay
We had an amazing weekend at this hotel/casino. The room was wonderful and had a fantastic view! The pool was very clean, and it was nice that they offered adult swim from 9-11. I would reccomend a stay at the Ameristar to anyone. Enjoy!

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 18Awesome hotel
This is the best hotel in the STL area bar none for the price. It is as good as any five star. The 10 minute drive to downtown is worth it for the savings and being out of the chaos of downtown. This is the only place we will stay for now on when we visit st. louis.

This hotel room is worth all the money you will pay for it. Just the pool will take your breath away and the room will just astonish you! It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! True luxury!

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 18Beautiful hotel!
This was our first stay at Ameristar, but it won't be our last! Our river view room was beautiful and very spacious! From the sunken living room to the THREE tvs, the room was awesome! The only disappointment came when we asked to stay an hour past check-out as we hadn't arrived until nearly 11:00PM and were told that was NOT an option for any guests, seemed a bit harsh considering the price of the room, but...

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 18needs improvement
For the price, the bed was not very comfortable and there were not very many tv channels. We requested a non-smoking room, but at check-in, they did not have one available, so we got stuck with a smoking room. For that price, they should guarantee the room you think you are going to get.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 18Great Fun!
The pool is Great! The river view room is not worth the xtra money. The hotel is too close to the river to really make the view special. Stay at the hotel, eat at the great bufett, swim in the great pool...then go to bed, the casino is much better at 8am! Thanks!

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 18Such a beautiful hotel, but so many problems........
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms are fantastic along with the pool the restaurants and the casino. The only really big issue I had was with the front desk. In a nut shell this is what happened. Checked in, asked if it was a smoking room, told it was. Got to the room, it wasn't, they were going to move us but ended up bringing us ashtrays instead. Because they were going to move us they had already moved us in the computer so they ended up re-renting our room and had someone walk in on us. This then disactivated our keys. They also forgot to give us wristbands for the pool and later in the night our keys disactivated again. Staff did nothing to compensate for the 6 times I had to go to the front desk with problems.
