Unaware of Valet Parking Fees

It was a nice hotel, but we were unaware that the only parking alternative was valet. We paid $26 each day to park plus tips to retrieve our car multiple times each day. Had I known, I would have selected a different hotel.

Fantastic Hotel!

I took my 2 young boys for an overnight of fun 12/22/08. We were on the 18th floor and our room overlooked the park that was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The boys went ice scating at the outdoor rink just outside the hotel and had a blast. There were fun little shops on the other side of the hotel. The Fairmont itself is a great place to stay! Roll away free for children! Great restuarant! Highly recommend!!!!

The staff at this hotel are wonderful! They are professional, warm, friendly and very helpful.

Affordable Luxury

For a hotel chains that also manages the Plaza in New York City, they don't sacrifice service or values just because it is not in a major city. The staff were superbly professional and attentive. The staff made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable in the hotel before they left me alone for the night. The bed, although not made beautifully, was very comfortable. The bathroom was great. The toilet was its own stall with a phone by the toilet seat. A fresh bathrobe was provided in addition to your standard amenities. Shower stall was separate from the bathtub. Overall, the value beats the two stars I stayed at in the area that offered the same price for the night.

we enjoyed to stay in the hotel with my families.we relaxed, convinent for walking to downtown,clean room and well equiped exercise room and sauna.I recommed other freinds to stay in the hotel when ever they visit san jose.Thank you again for yor hospitality.
