Romatic night out at the Fairmont

Well i statyed at the fairmont to have a nice romatic night with my boyfriend. The only thing i did not like about the stanard rooms is that the showers where not modern. They had a very old style and the shower head was nasty (needs to be replaced) Besides this everything was perfect

Wonderful stay

The hotel was beautiful, everything was perfect. We had beautiful room overlooking the pool and the park below. The room was larger than expected, and very quiet for a Saturday night. We only stayed one night, but wished it was longer. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel, at The Grill. It was expensive, but well worth the cost. Service was excellent. food excellent. They charged $25.00 for parking - this is typical for such a hotel in the middle of a city that has limited parking. But we also knew in advance.

Great room for the money

It was a fine visit. We stayed only 1 night, not even 24 hours, so I don't have much to comment on. I would've liked a better view (we faced the back & looked down on the neighbooring building's satelite dishes), but we got a GREAT rate, so I'm not complaining!

horrible sound

people were partying all night in the room next door. i called security several times throughout the night. the party continued. i did not sleep. i'm still mad.

Great hotel

This is where we will spend our anniversary every year.

Beautiful hotel in an ideal location.

The only complaint we had was our air conditioner wasn't working. They upgraded us to a larger room. The hotel is convenient to everything in downtown San Jose. We didn't use the car at all. We ate in the Grill, wonder food and the service was excellent.

Great location, great facilities, except...

Wish the pool was open later - it closes at 9pm, and the beds weren't very comfortable - woke up sore both mornings, and the pillows were not as firm as I'd like, but I suppose that is a preference issue, not an issue with the hotel. I loved the location, plenty of activities close, the airport was 5 min away and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel

We got a upgrade to the Executive tower when we checked in (so a queen size bed to a king size bed!) The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The location is in the heart of San Jose downtown. The restaurants located at the hotel are top-notch. They afford valet parking however if you don't mind walking a block or two, you can get parking at any parking garage for much less. Overall, the experience was amazing and I would definitely go back.

Great hotel

This is an elegant hotel conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Jose. The rooms were spscious and the bathroom luxurious. I paid an unbelievable price for a hotel of this caliber.
