Service Needs Improvement

Not pleased with level of customer service. It is very slow. I had to make three phone calls over the course of a day to get a replacement for my missing TV remote.

Lovely

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont. We ate a great dinner and danced to a live band both nights in the compfortable, cozy lounge. Would stay there again for sure!

Great room for the money.

I got a great deal on the price of my hotel stay through hotels.com and it was well worth it. The hotel is beautiful and in the heart of Downtown San Jose. You can literally walk to any of the major destinations surrounding the hotel. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Great Stay

This was my first stay in the Fairmont in San Jose. Not only is it convenient to the Convention Center, but it's within an easy walk to many great local restaurants and bars. Try The Loft just around the corner and ask for a table on the rooftop patio. To steal the governor's words, "I'll be back," to both.

Needs improvement

Bug in bed when I awoke one morning. Hotel made good faith effort to check it out, but claims there's no problem in the room.
