Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 27Good place to stay
It was in a good neighborhood with a bunch of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hotel parking was convenient and nicely priced. When I go back to Toronto, I'll check availability at this place first.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 27far away, lots of prostitutes.
I booked this hotel for an impromptu weekend getaway. Sadly, it was a long walk from downtown and not as centrally located as I had thought...it is even off the map in Fodor's travel guide. The staff seemed indifferent, not particularly welcoming. Only one elevator worked and the one that did was narrow, as were the halls and my junior suite. Most disappointing is that the neighborhood is crawling with prostitutes. One in particular was right outside the hotel main entrance both nights I stayed there. Top that off with ripped sheets, shoddy decor, and a musty scent...it did not seem on-par with other similarly priced hotels. Very disappointing.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 27Great hotel for price
hotel is actually in the Gay neighborhood of toronto. The gay community is very nice, and a great breakfast store right around block. Beer store just a few blocks away, along with a few convenience stores to access everything you may need. walking distance to the subway on Yonge. For the price, a beautiful room with two queen size beds, and even a pullout couch. Room service was quick, as well as service for extra towels. overall highly recommended

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 27Wonderful Stay
The hotel's location played a great role in making our stay in Toronto a memorable one. First, it is located just blocks from Yonge Street, which happens to be the main street of downtown Toronto. It looked to me as a very safe area and the people we met on the street were very helpful when asked for direction. Except for some very minor sound coming from the ceiling, the rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Our room was also upgraded to a bigger and more spacious suite (from two doubles to two queens, two seperate rooms and a spacious living room). The hotel personnel gave very good directions which made our exploration of downtown Toronto a more enjoyable on. We certainly got more than our money's worth.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 27Older Hotel
This hotel is older. It was clean and the room was very comfortable. However, the bathroom was far from modern with exposed pipes and cracks in walls. The hallways also had the odor of older hotels. For a 3 star hotel, it should have been in better condition. I should note again however that the room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The front desk staff was extremely cordial and helpful in assisting me with pointers on places to see in Toronto. The bed was extremely comfortable, so be certain to set your alarm clock if you sleep longer on a more comfortable bed. The hotel is located just blocks from Toronto's Yonge Street and College Street which are great for younger crowds and a few blocks from the subway system. Other than a small, questionable stain on a hand towel in the bathroom (which the staff replaced immediately), the room was perfect!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 27Good location
The room itself was a little small, but did accomodate myself and 4 other guests as far as sleeping arrangements go. We stayed in the standard 2 queen with a sleeper sofa so everyone slept comfortably. The hotel was conveniently located 2 blocks from the eaton centre, which was our reason for picking it and the price wasn't bad at all. However the bathroom needed a little work. I was less than pleased with the appearance and size of the bathroom as well as the pool which was much smaller than I thought it would be by looking at the picture. Overall though it was okay though and I probably would reccomend it to others who are looking for a hotel in the middle of downtown for an affordable price.

The only complaint was the that the pillows were too soft. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 27Good Hotel - Improve a few things
Stayed here while on a visit to Toronto. The people at the front desk were great, great with information and any help they could provide. Hotel is being remodeled, but the room was comfortable and since we weren't there all day was just what we needed. Housekeeping could use some improvement, didn't make up the room the first day we were there and only provided towels for one person (three in the room) the second. Call to the front desk each day solved the problem. Parking is $18.00/day additional but once you park the car you really don't have to use it if you don't want to. Would stay there again.
