Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 90Great hotel if cool design & comfort is your priority
Not a casino hotel, which can be a bonus for some. If you can get a Ocean view room these are really bang overlooking the beach and wonderful. They have very few of these, so watch out you don't get a "partial" view instead which is very partial... Service was top notch, friendly and accommodating. The crab cakes/puffs at the diner on ground floor were spectacular! Good breakfast there too.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 90great hotel, low on service in the off season
Came for a girls weekend mid-week. Great hotel, great location, but simple requests for things like towels or restaurant recommendations were lacking as there was often only one person at the desk. I would definitely go back (so cheap!) b/c it was pretty classy. Great to be in AC with no casino in the hotel.

The best place to stay in Atlantic City.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 90Great Boutique Hotel
I loved this hotel because it is quiet (no gambling on site) and the staff is friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the tower which is the only part of the hotel I would consider acceptable. The "coffee shop" is excellent. One of the best breakfasts I can remember having at a coffee shop setting. The new spa was nice and I am sure as they add more services it will be even better. I will definitely stay here on any return to Atlantic City.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 90Rainy day...Where to go
It really rained the middle day of our vacation, and tired of gambling, we came back to the hotel for a game and to play pool. It was Thursday, and I guess they were having some kind of party in the bar area next door... We were asked three times to leave the room but never asked to our faces... Just loud comment about us Still.. being there! I thought public places were for all to use... and if not put up a notice on the door!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 90Chelsea Chic
This was my second stay here. The first time was last November. We were in the main tower, but the off-season meant there was none of the nightlife on their 5th floor. This time, we were first given a room on the motel side (their words). Avoid this side (Chelsea Lite) because it's uninspiring and old, despite the updating. We asked to change to the tower rooms, which are super chic. And the 5th floor was so happening that Saturday, only hotel guests were allowed in the building. And thanks to the Spa staff for letting us hop in for a quick post-beach shower after we had checked out!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 90Needs some Improvement
The hotel was nice, great location, and smoke free. The room was big, beautifully decorated but needed some vaccuming and furniture dusting. The halways needed some cleaning as well. The most nicest thing was that the bed was very comfortable, liked the big screen TV and the Ocean view. Hotel provided the beach chairs and umbrella, but we had to bring our own towels because the towels were given dirty and wet and when we asked to change them it was never delivered to us. Overall I liked the hotel and would stay there again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 90Better than Expected
After reading many horrible reviews about this hotel I was a little nervous about our stay, but was pleasantly surprised. Made sure to book the Luxe tower which was fine. Had an ocean view, comfortable bed, clean, nice furnishings, new bathroom, etc. Didn't see annex rooms. As a business traveler i stay in MANY hotels in the East Coast. The service at the Chelsea was very good when we arrived, and throughout the trip everyone was of assistance and helpful. I could tell at check out on Sat they were very busy but still had enough staff, it is just a popular hotel! Great atmosphere. Ate at Terpinsky's or whatever it was for breakfast, all very good. Pool was a great place to people watch, trying to go the whole Vegas route with Cabanas and DJ. In all a great stay, will definately go back again.
