Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 29Great Hotel
This hotel was very nice. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was good. The bath tub was very spacious. It was a great stay with a reasonable price, considering all the events going on in Kansas City the weekend we stayed.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 29Great Hotel
Great hotel, nice village feel, big rooms if you get the suite. The furniture was a bit old in ours, and the unit we got this time didn't have the updated bathroom. I would stay there again, it's a good value for what you get. The pool was also great as is the breakfast (waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, pastries, muffins, toast, etc). The only real complaint is the road going to the hotel is under heavy construction so it's quite a mess getting there.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 29Great Service
This was my second time staying at Holtze. This time I brought my wife and small kids. We felt like we were at home. I will stay at Holtze every time I return to the Kansas City area. Very nice pool too.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 29Great place!
This place is great. Quiet, clean and a great deal. We stayed at in one of the suites, had everthing you could want, full size fridge, microwave, big living room area with a sleeper sofa. Seperate bedroom with lots of storage place. If you want a clean, quiet comfortable place this one is it. It's great for extended stays.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 29Nice surprise
We were in town to visit family after having moved from the area in 15 years ago. We were pleasantly surprised at the hotel. We did not use any of the amenities since we were busy with family but my grandson asked to come back in the summer to use the pool. The staff accommodated us by giving a good rate on the ajoining room. We just could not bear to have our daughter sleep on the sofa bed. It was not as comfortable looking as the bed.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 29Good place to stay for the money.
We have stayed at the Holtze several times. This time there was no couch in the room and they said it was a newly decorated room and the furniture wouldn't be in until next week. We had already unpacked and didn't want to move to another room. Wish we had. They could have upgraded us to a suite.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 29Great Place
We stayed for the Christmas Holidays and it was very nice and friendly, the free buffet was always filled up and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and full equiped with what you need for a longer stay. Stores, malls, movie theater all in a short distance drive. A very good and relaxing place, we will definatly return.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 29Not just for executives
My husband and I took our 6 year old and our 3 year old on a little family trip to KC. The suite we stayed in was absolutely awesome, and we will definitely be staying at the Holtze again.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 29Great accomodations for the money
We were in a suite which was very clean& comfortable. Suggest maybe they substitue a king size bed in lieu of the queen.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 29Very nice in many ways; not so nice in others
The air conditioning unit in our particular suite was VERY, noisy. We needed to keep the volume of the TV up very high to hear over it, and so we kept it off in the evening, which wasn't ideal. I expected the bed to be comfortable, but instead the matress was VERY soft, and had a deep hole in the middle where my husband and I would fall into throughout the night, and our backs paid the price the next day. The hot tub by the pool was malfunctioning (the only jets that worked were under your feet) so that was very dissappointing. On a good note, the bathroom was HUGE and the tub was lovely. However, why have such nice bathroom facilities and such non-existant toiletry "extras" to really enjoy it?

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 29Great Room
We enjoyed staying at Holtze Hotel. We thought the room was spacious and enjoyed the fact that the bedroom had a door so our child could sleep while we stayed up and watched TV. You could hear noises coming from the room on top of you.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 29Very Nice Hotel, Needs Some Improvement
This was the second time we stayed here. For the money, it is a great place. Just little maintenance things with the room. Drywall issues, stains on curtains, Bedroom window was off the track which caused a vacuum like effect. Housing keeping is great. The front desk staff definately needs alot of improvement. My wife and I both were treated, at seperate times, like we were interrupting them.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 29Great Hotel for the Money
The hotel room was large & roomy and very clean. The continenal breakfast is great and different everyday. The evening hospitality setup is different but great. Enjoyed the pool but only having one ice machine for the entire complex was an issue.
