Great Hotel

The lady at check-in was not very pleasant to talk to. Everything else was wonderful. We got up to the room and, as a college student, it reminded me of an actual mini apartment. We did not get a suite with the kitchen or anything, which they do have, but we did still have a mini-fridge and microwave and the biggest walk-in closet i've ever seen in a hotel. The tub was huge as well. Great to take baths in if you like that kind of thing. The bed was huge as well! They are newly rennovated so some rooms even have balconies. Our room had a desk with a chair and then a sitting chair with a lamp. Very nice! I wish I could've stayed longer!!!

Very nice home away from home

Found this place last minute and I'm glad we did. This was one of the nicest places my wife and I have stayed. Great location in Overland Park and plenty of things to see and do close to the hotel. They have another one in Denver and my wife and I are already planning a trip there.

Great room for the money

Excellent hotel, the rooms are great, very roomy. When ever we are in Overland Park we will definitely stay again.

Overall a nice hotel with a few blemishes. Our hot water in the sink would only get to luke warm. (Thank goodness the shower did not have the same problem). The bed was comfortable with 300 thread count sheets. It appeared there was a chair missing from our room -- but since we were staying for only one night we decided to do without. Breakfast was substancial although coffee was good but not great. Although I would stay here again I probably will look for a place closer to downtown or the plaza.

The bed was marvelous!

I went to the Holtz for just an overnight getaway. The oversized tub was just what I needed after a long week, and the bed was wonderful. I didn't want to get out of bed the next morning, (not even for the breakfast I desired/required when I made the reservation) and the staff more than accomodated me by granting a late checkout. I will stay again.
