I thought the hotel was just fine my room was clean, only thing the hallway carpet needed a good cleaning and it had a chemical smell to it.and the free breakfast was just a snack.but outside of that i had a great stay and very close to the falls you can walk in about 5 min.hotels staff was very helpful.

Ruining Valentine's Day

I drove 9 hours to get to this hotel... Hotels.com did not submit the information to the hotel on the room I reserved. I was told I was getting a room with two queen size beds and a jacuzzi. I ended up getting just the queen size beds (or so the hotel said). They looked more like double beds- since I own a queen at home. The walk to the falls, was not 5 minutes, more like 10 minutes. There was other people's hair all over the bathroom, the stopper in the tub was broken and sitting on the ledge of the tub, I had an allergic reaction to the detergent of the bedsheets (and they were very itchy), the pizza place in the directory does not delivery to the room, the coffee machine wasn't cleaned and there was a rim of old coffee on the pot. Needless to say, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not even my worse enemies... I would also not recommend booking through hotels.com... I was offered a gift certificate for my next booking through them for the inconvienance, but I didn't take it, so they took ten percent off my stay... which was nothing. Nice to see they accommidate for their employees mistakes. Overall, big thumbs down.

Needs a lot of improvement

When you look at the pictures of the hotel, its very misleading. Nothing was even close to what our standards are in a hotel. The only thing that was ok was location and the gentleman that worked at night when we were there. They dayturn person was too busy talking to someone else to care about what the customers needed

Close enough

Works well if you just need a place to stay nights and you spend the day visiting the falls. Bring your own soap and toiletries.

This hotel is not really closest to the falls, its closest to the rainbow bridge though. It was close but we drove, parked then walked everywhere.

Needs Improvement

I highly suggest that this hotel get an makeover and upgrade the bathroom facilities. The Pool water was not clean and smelled like pee. The Front Desk service was very unorganized and the manager was never available.

For the money I paid I dont think it met my expectations. Either they should lower the rate or they have to do some improvement to enhance the ambiance of the room.

Great room for the money

We were pleased with the room. Very reasonable rate. It was clean and air was on when we entered the room which was welcome on a hot day. The hotel is older and maybe needs some updating but as long as it was clean and the bed comfortable, we can live with any minor imperfections. The staff we met with were pleasant and knowledgeable about tours and facilities in the area. There was a safe in the room that can be set with your own combination.
