Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 44OK for the price
Great location if you are going to stay on the US side of the border, although now that I've seen both sides, would recommend to stay on Canadian soil. Hotel is only steps away from the park and the casino (if you like that). The room is clean although the exterior of our windows had some cobwebbs and small spider's. (left curtain closed) The bed and the sheets are not comfortable, but it's good to crash. It's a good place if you're looking for good price and you plan a short stay.

I stayed three nights and the Falls were within a 5 minute walk. The hotel room was cleaned very well each day. It was big with a large bathroom. Adequate water pressure in the shower. As far as the staff goes?... Joe at the information desk was superb. His recommendations ln restaurants in the area was right on and his patience and kindness towards all my questions was great. I would definately stay here again. You can walk to Canada in 5 minutes also.

We choose this hotel because we were traveling with a dog. They have a spot to walk your dog and you can leave them in the room when you leave the hotel. It is a short walk to the Falls and also to Canada. It does need to be updated, but met our need for our stay with our dog.

This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. The hallways are filthy and the room smelled terrible. I will never stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. YUCK!!!!

It's a very old hotel. Can feel the springs in the mattress. Lots of "crumbs" under the edges of the beds. Not all lights work, some even missing lightbulbs. The free coffee packet had been open and the coffee/filter removed and the empty package left for us. Overall the entire city is in BAD shape. Many condemned buildings. Run down. Way too much money for this cheap hotel. Although, I must say, the free breakfast was very good.

Reading other reviews on hotels.com, most of them exactly match my own experience. It can't be closer to the Falls - just five minutes walk. Rooms are large, but need some renovation, and are clean, although not perfectly clean. Breakfast area is really small and usually overcrowded, but waiting pays off, because surrounding area does not provide an alternative. Few remarks on negative reviews: 1. Smoke. We asked for non-smoking room and that is exactly what we got. 2. Terrible service. Not at all. 3. No lobby & small elevator. They are just big enough for this class of hotel.

The hotel was clean close to everything we wanted to do, continental breakfast was excellent and our view was spectacular to fireworks, the river and Canada night lights. It looks like Las Vegas over there. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I wasn't expecting too much from this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and large. It was very close to the falls and getting across the bridge to Canada was a snap. If you're looking for somewhere affordable but still decent, this is the place.

An older hotel with older carpets, furniture, linens and fittings, but a great location, and really nice people. We were there in late October, mid-week--so there were few guests in the hotel. But a good breakfast, free wifi, parking and newspapers, and close to everything. You can beat the price, but not the location and attitude. We parked at the hotel and walked everywhere including to Canada over the Rainbow bridge, and we walked to horseshoe falls, bridal falls and of course Niagra falls, plus goat island, and local restaurants. A great trip and a good hotel.
