Bond Place Hotel

Amazing location

The only real outstanding feature of the hotel was its proximity to the heart of downtown Toronto. The hotel was less than a block away from a variety of great shopping, dining, and other tourist attractions. Warning: Amenities were very very expensive.

Good For What You Pay

I got a really good deal on this hotel room (15% off) from hotels.com which I think was the quality of the hotel. It was in a fabulous location but almost everything was extra (even local calls). The room was very clean but very small and the bed was really uncomfortable. Besides that everything was pretty basic.

If you are expecting luxury, this is not it

This is a quiet hotel that is near a lot of things, but the rooms are extremely small. Our room had 2 beds in it that I think were supposed to be full sized beds but did not even look that big. One of the beds were against the wall and the other touching the air conditioner. Not a lot of frills. They do have a restaurant in the lobby that has a good breakfast...very fast and friendly service. If you are in your room, put out your "Do not Disturb sign...we got walked in on by housekeeping. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it...but if you are just looking for a place to sleep, than this is the hotel for you.

GREAT Location!!

Can't beat the location! Just a hop, skip, and jump away from Yonge Street Center, Cannon Theatre, Eaton Center shopping, and a subway station. Great hotel for location, not on the better comforts. The bed was very hard and room was small. But what does that matter when you are having so much fun.

Great for our trip

My fiancee and I stayed at the Bond Place for three nights. The bed was small and hard, but the hotel is in such a GREAT location that we were able to walk EVERYWHERE so we were tired enough that the bed didn't matter! The room was clean and the hotel was comfortable. Monika's downstairs was a quaint little bar with good service. We would definitely reccommend The Bond Place and would stay there again ourselves.

Great location for the money.

I stayed here 2 nights with my girlfriend while enjoying toronto, for the price i payed it was a very nice/clean hotel and the location was unbelievable. The room was small but it didn't bother me, it was also quiet and we weren't bothered by any cleaning people. I plan on visiting toronto again this summer for 3 nights and i'm planning on staying in this very same hotel. It is 1 block or about a 2 minute walk to the Eaton Center which is awesome, I can't wait to go back in the warm weather so we can walk the city streets of downtown instead of driving and paying all the parking fees. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the downtown area of Toronto. :)

bad experience

i stayed at the hotel when it lost power and we asked for our money back because we didnt want to stay somewhere that had no power. the front desk manager was not properly trained to handle this type of situation. he threatened to call the police on us because we wouldnt leave the front desk area without our money back. nevertheless we did not get our money back and so we checked into another hotel that was definitely much better than this one! i would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
