Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 24Worked well for us
We flew to Toronto for 2 days at the annual film festival. We chose Bond Place because it was reasonably priced and a very convenient location. Airport Express bus goes right to the hotel, it's just off the bustling Yonge-Dundas Square, which meant easy walking distance to all the festival locations (max was about a mile). Room was small but clean & comfortable. One caveat: strong smell of chlorine when we first arrived; they'd obviously cleaned, but pine or lemon would have been a more welcoming scent. Now, we are not fussy about hotels. A clean room, comfortable bed, good location, reasonable price are really all we ask. More demanding travellers might not be satisfied, but for a downtown location in this price range you'd probably not be able to do any better in Toronto.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 24Amazing location, great view, good price
This hotel overlooks Dundas Square, Toronto's equivalent to New York's Times Square. The location is great, the view from our hallway window was amazing, and the price was surprising. Keep in mind if you're driving, the only place to park is in their garage, which costs money. There was only one check-in clerk, who had to deal with two customers in line in front of me, another hotel employee asking her to make copies, and the phone ringing constantly. It took about twenty minutes for her to get to me (no fault of hers, just understaffed), but once she did, I was checked in within a minute. Great value for the price.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 24Great for the Money
The Bond Place Hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for a no-frills place to stay in Toronto. The room I stayed in was small but cleaned and maintained daily. The location is in Dundas Square which is bascially the "times sq" of Toronto. This location is great for public transportation and almost acts as a cross-roads to all parts of the city. For being such a large hotel (there are 16 floors) it is very quiet. You can't hear any of the outside traffic or noise unless your window is open. The clientele that stayed in the hotel were an international mix of people. All of which seemed clean and kept to themselves. Parking was very easy. For a very small fee per day you can park your car in the hotel garage and not have to worry about it being outside or having to move it. All and all I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who needs a clean, safe place to sleep and shower. If you are looking for excitement within your hotel, this is not the place.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 24Just OK
It was in a great location in the city. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant downstairs was good. I did see some type of small bug on the headboard of my bed that freaked me out. The hotel has a early '80's feel.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 24great room for the money
The location is great, two short blocks to Eaton Center. Hotel is old, can use some update. But for the money and the convenience I can settle for what i got: two nights of good sleeping, simple but clean, efficient bath room and walking distance to all activities. BTW, parking is great, $15 a day is a great price for Toronto downtown.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 24Excellent Value
My daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Bond Place Hotel. The price of our rooms was excellent considering the Bond's location right in the heart of downtown Toronto while also being adjacent to Ryerson University and some quaint but very interesting neighborhoods. The hotel is a bit of a throwback to hotels of the '60s and '70s. No pretense, just a modest and really quite nice, solid hotel in a great location at a great price. Terrific for a long weekend of sightseeing, shopping and entertainment in Toronto. We'll definitely stay at the Bond on future visits.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 24Very Dissatisified
Well to start we got lost trying to find the hotel and when we called for assistance she was asking us to book a room. We corrected her and she told us to hold on and we were hung up on. Then when we found the hotel to our suprise the room was TINY. We proceeded to enjoy Toronto and the next morning we woke up sore from the hard beds and flat, stiff pillows. Also awakening us was someone coming into our room at 9:30am. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my worst enemies. I will never book here again.
