Over priced

Gym pool and hot tub were being serviced so it was unusable. Very inconvienient. This was not mentioned when I booked.

Very nice hotel

Listel was very nice. Room was clean and larger than expected. Daytime hotel staff was friendly and very helpful in giving directions and suggestions on places to go. The only thing that I must give a negative comment to is the shower. Extremely low pressure.

Perfect location, Pleasant Staff

The Listel is well located for a weekend trip; shopping is steps away, as is Sushi at Miko's across the street. We took a lovely walk in the neighborhood behind the hotel on tree lined streets, visited the community gardens, and then brought our breakfast back to the hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely stay at the Listel again.

great location, staff, and accomdations. highly recmmend.

Helpful staff

The staff were very helpful. When we arrived, my brother was not feeling well and the staff were kind enough to expedite a room for us even though we arrived a few hours prior to checkin time. The car valet service was FAST. As soon as we requested our car, it was just a matter of a few minutes. We also liked the free local and long distance calling. I would go back.

Front desk services were great and friendly.

Front desk and bell services were great and friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel was pretty expensive, but the surrounding area holds no shortage of great and diverse food options. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The bed was firm, which is to my liking but may not be to everyone. I would have liked a microwave and a mini-fridge, but they were not included ammenities and I knew that going in.

Overall a great place to stay, but...

The valet system is woefully inadequate and understaffed for the number of guests in the property. The staff tries very hard but the volume makes it near impossible for them to keep up. There really are no other long term parking options near the hotel. They elevator requires a room key to operate and it works maybe 30% of the time. Keep trying and eventually you can choose a floor. It's maddening but finally works.

Outstanding Hotel

Our three day stay at the Listel Hotel was the greatest! The staff were the most helpfull. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would again stay here when in Vancouver. The hotel is centerally located and within walking distance of many interesting restaurants.

Great Hotel

Booked as a second choice. Have stayed at this hotel many times and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and comfortable. And Vancouver is always beautiful! Not my first choice but a great runner up.
