Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 108Great Location - Average Hotel
There was nothing spectacular about the room. The view was poor even though it states ball park or arch view. Unless you are on one of the upper floors all you can see is the parking lot across the street. If you are going to a ball game, the location is excellent as it is just a block or 2 away. For the price of the room and the cost to park, you expect more. Not bad, but not worth the rates.

The room and view was nice. Location was excellent. The elevators however took forever. Every time you leave or come back you need to plan at least at 15 extra min.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 108great hotel
The hotel staff was great in getting us in, out, and giving directions to local events. The doors seemed a little thin as we could hear the neighbors when they came and went. The beds were comfortable, the view was fabulous, and the hotel was located so close to anywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I was surprised with how nice the hotel was for the price.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 108Pet friendly? Not really.
We booked our room through hotels.com and the information given was that it was a pet friendly hotel. We booked a nice room for a reasonable price-more than I wanted to pay, but the pics were really good. We arrived and were told that because we had a dog we had to stay in the "south tower," which looked like it hadn't been updated in ten years. I'm very dissapointed. The only good thing about the room was the awesome view of the arch.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very courteous and polite, if there was a question to be answered the staff made sure they found out what you were looking for. Over all i was very satisfied with our stay.

We thought the room was dirty. Very dusty and had cob webs. The restroom was very small and had black hairs in the sink. The carpet felt greasy and dirty when it was walked on. We felt better wearing shoes around the room.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 108Engagement weekend
I took my girlfriend to a Cardinals game middle of the day, Checked into the hotel afterwards. Had to wait a brief moment for our room to be ready, waited for quite a while for an elevator. The hotel was very crowded. We stayed on the top floor, great view, however leaving and returning made it interesting with the elevator situation. I had planned on proposing to my girlfriend while we were out for the evening and were to come back to a decorated room. I had flowers delivered, however the strawberries I ordered from room service never showed up. The room was a bit warmer than we would have liked. And the A/C was on cold during our entire stay. Not sure if this was due to an older building? or if it was because it was top floor and very hot outside. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, only not during HOME CARDINAL games.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 108Great Location
My fiancee and I were in town for a quick trip and a St Louis Cardinal game. Since the hotel was situated in between the new Busch Stadium and the Arch it was perfect. We could see the stadium from our room and people on the other side of the hotel could see the river and arch. The lounge downstairs was very comfortable and service was awesome.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 108Checking into room was horrible
We had dinner reservations in St Louis at 6:30, so we checked into our hotel at 5:45 thinking that would give us ample time to get ready. We were told that room service was cleaning rooms and to make a long story short we didn't actually get up to our room until 7:30. I had to call the restaurant 2 times to push back the reservations. I booked the room back in April so I don't know why they didn't have a room ready for me and all the clerks could say is "it should be ready in about 30-45 minutes." And I had parked in a different parking garage before we went to check in, and was still told that $19 would be added to my room for the flat fee of the parking garage. I was not happy. We did have a nice view of Busch Stadium, but the check in process was ridiculous!

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 108Great Experience
We stayed at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Great view, so close to everything and anything you want to do! Staff very friendly. Within walking distance to Busch Stadium, the Arch, the Casino and many eateries! Wonderful experience, I would definitely go back again!
