Cozy Hotel, Great Price

I booked this hotel because of the location and rate for a last minute trip. The room is nicely done, with an excellent walk in shower. The beds were comfortable, and the Wi Fi is FREE. Had the feeling of a motor lodge I used to stay at when I was traveling with the familiy as a kid. Elmer's down the street had the best breakfast in town.

It's fine

This is an older hotel that calls it self a resort. Maybe at one time, but it just a hotel with a pool. For a place to sleep it's fine. The beds were very good the room was clean. Don't expect anything fancy and you don't be disappointed. It's a good value,good internet connection and good beds. That's all we needed.

Noisy

The hotel is nice but I sady had neighbors who parties until 3am and the walls are thin. I asked management to ask them to quiet down at about 2pm and I did hear them try, but they took it into their room and continued to be loud.

pool is to cold

I have stayed here 5 times. The pool has been cold every time. Like the hotel, but I may not come back because of the pool temp.

Caliente Tropic Stay

I have to say I was very disappointed in my stay with this hotel. When I checked in the person checking me in let me know they had had some power outages but they may only have one more. I appreciated the heads up. I went to my room to take a shower before going out. I found there were only two hand towels. No problem I went to the office to ask for towels. I also asked for a 5 AM wake up call. I went to take my shower to find out that there was only cold water. I called the desk and they told me that they would look into it but it was likely the hot water heaters were affected by the power outage. I was told they would look into it and if there was a problem they would get back to me. I went to bed and was woken up by the front desk calling. Though the call did not come at 5 AM as requested but 4 AM. I spent the next hour trying to get a bit more sleep. I then found out that despite what I was told the previous night there was no hot water yet again. So less than 12 hours and two cold showers, no towels and waking my up at the wrong time. I would have to say you would be best advised to not stay here in the future. While anyone can make a mistake it takes a lot to screw things up that badly. Save yourself the hassle and waste of money staying there.

amazing hotel for the price!!

I couldn't believe how nice this place was for how little I paid. We were only there for one night so we couldn't take advantage from all of the amenities, but the bed was super comfortable, the shower was nice with granite walls, and just very comfortable overall. I'd definitely stay there again!

Just one bug...

Excellent bed, shower, coffee in the room, fridge, safe, clean, hairdryer, nice towels, cute decor, updated, just one bug. A very large bug that took us about an hour to finally get rid of. It looked like a 3" cockroach to me, however the front office assured me it was a "water bug", and that it was "that time of year". Hmm. Hubby says he thinks it was a water bug as well. None the less, I wasn't going to sleep until it was gone. And it was a very fast bug, and it flew! So we messsed around w/it for about an hour before finally cornering it in the bathroom! Frankly, I'd stay at the resort again...I mean, how much could a 3" bug possibly eat? :)

Great hotel and price

We needed a place to sleep on the way back from California to Arizona, so I did not expect much for the price we paid. I was pleasantly surprised at the location, cleanliness and the overall coolness of this place. It had a kitschy nod to what was cool in Palm Springs of yesteryear, but updated to allow for the expectations that modern day travelers want. We also appreciated that our furry member of the family was allowed and that they were so welcoming to pets. An extra perk that we wish others would also do!

Very nice room for the money

first look at outside wasnt impressed,,once in my room was very impressed.they had just redone my room and it was very nice.

Great place, great price!

This is our second stay. Got a room with a different view. Loved it again! Would definately go back again. It's worth the price.
