great room for the money

very nice and clean hotel. big and updated room. one of the best hotels.

Barely ok.

When my family goes out of town, we always make a point to stay at a Hyatt place and we usually love the hotel and our stay there, but this was definitely my least favorite. Unless you are staying here to be close to the Galleria Mall, the location is terrible. The traffic around the mall is just so congested. As for inside our room, we found some dirty socks under the blanket at the foot of our bed and we had paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Both mornings, the cereal was stale at breakfast and at the pool, the first night they had no towels out and the second night, they had hand towels in the towel box. They also took a shirt out of my room that was on the floor with a towel and say they can't find it. This is a Hyatt Place we won't be staying at again.

Average Hotel with Above average Price

For the per night rate charge I really expected a better room. With the exception of the television and Internet the rooms are in much need of an update. Although the room said no smoking it still had the lingering odor of smoke. The bathroom was not the cleanest and the door would stick. Overall I could have paid less and stayed at one of the other well known chains or paid a few dollars more and had way more ameneties. Being that it was my second time staying there in 3 years without any sign of an update, I don't see myself going there again.

Family Loved the hotel and they are hard to please

Centrally locate by shopping malls, food. Just a wonderful place to stay. Cant wait to get back to Dallas.

Room were too small

The room was too small and the bathroom was extremely small. We enjoyed the free ride to the Galleria...

Outstanding getaway

I was very satisfied with this hotel. We used it for a night getaway. The staff was very courteous and professional.

Nice Hotel

This hotel is nice, it in a great neighborhood, and it is very close to both major malls in the area. The room was very clean, and had a nice flat screen tv. The "free" breakfast was not great but if you wanted to buy a hot breakfast there was someone to make it for you. They also had muffins, sandwiches, and sodas you could buy throughout the day. Overall we had a good stay.

Would stay again!

Fantastic accomodation for a family with three children. There is a partition that seperates a lounge area to the bedding area, which made you feel as though you had a seperate living space. The rooms were very modern and clean. The only complaint i have is that the airconditioning unit was very noisy. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate. The staff were attentive and friendly. Quick check in was a breeze. We will def stay here again and will use other Hyatt Place in other locations.

Great room for the money!!

Really nice hotel- loved the layout of the room. Loved the sectional couch and huge flat screen T.V...picture was incredible. Would have been nice to have a microwave, but no big deal. Only thing I thought it lacked was a good menu to order food to bring to the room- had some sandwiches, basic salads, but would be nice to have a hot meal after a busy day with out leaving the hotel. Would recommend to friends though...was a great deal!

Modern, Convenient, & Relaxing

Our family just stayed at the Hyatt Place for the weekend, and we have nothing but praise for this hotel. It is small enough to receive personal service. It is newly updated and visually appealing. The staff is courteous, and the location just a half mile north of the Galleria couldn't be better. A mile north is the Belt-Line in Addison, which has hundreds of places to eat. Ask for a restaurant map from the front desk to help you with your decision. We will stay here again

Great Experience

The room was larger than we expected. Great couch and fabulous TV (WOW!) It had a small fridge and wet-bar area also. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept in. The A/C work VERY well. The closet was very shallow. Hanging clothes fit, but at an angle. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
