Nice Hotel

Really a nice place to stay, clean, friendly. Would have been better for us if they would have had an in room coffee pot, instead of having to get up, get dressed, then go down 20 stories to find a bigbucks located in front of the hotel.

Needs Improvement

We were disappointed that we did not receive the room we booked. We wanted a king bed and had to settle for two double beds. Also, the TV was small, not a flat screen and the channel selection was limited. Staying in Vegas we expected better.

Farther down the strip

It was an okay hotel stay, but requested a king size bed in our room and were given two queens instead.

Great Hotel

Our room was on the 16th floor facing the strip. The room, service and view was top notch. The only problem was the tower we were in was the roller coaster. You cold hear the rumble of the coaster and the screams as it went through the loops.

Needs improvement

I reserved 3 similar rooms for 2 nights. I was slightly disappointed in that I thought I had booked rooms with jacuzzi tubs and a suite type atmosphere. What I got was 2 queen beds and a regular tub. I paid a high price (weekend rates) which did not seem to match the quality of rooms that I received.

vegas trip

This hotel has a lot to see and inside, but it's actually a little too busy. The casino floor is unusually noisy with so many clubs and businesses. A good part of the strip is under construction and is dirty and looks terrible. The NYNY is very near one end of the strip so you have to walk or drive thru the mess to get anywhere. Good restaurants, relatively small pool. It's a perfectly adequate hotel, the room was nice, tho the bathroom was a little dated. I can say I've stayed there, but I doubt I would again.

We were very excited about staying at the New York New York and in the end very disappointed. Dark, rather small rooms, on the way to our room we always met dirty dishes on the floor, which weren't collected for the whole day. Compulsory charge of $ 3.00 per day for phone calls! We didn't need to use the phone. When we booked we looked out for a hotel with a gym. It didn't mention that the gym was located withing the spa aerea and that there was a cost of $ 22.00 per person. One more rip off and Vegas is full of those.
