Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 135Good room for the money but you have to pay for the extras
They charge $16 a day for wireless connection. That seems a little outdated to charge for an internet connection. They also have a $3 resort "phone" fee weather you use the phone or not. I would consider another hotel to see who doesn't charge these charges.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 135Toxic Waste Dump, But Cheap-ish
Crowded, incredibly noisy (even for Vegas), smoky (even for Vegas), unimpressive rooms, terrible casino floor layout -- just an all-around bad experience. South Strip location is good for accessing other properties, but frankly the MGM directly across the street (and connected via a bridge) is cleaner, more pleasant, less smoky, and offers rooms at more-or-less the same price points. The only way I'll set foot in NYNY again is to go see Zumanity, and even then I wouldn't rent a room there -- I'd just go straight to the theater and then hightail it out of the hotel. Bad.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 135terrible room at NYNY
I got put in one of the towers that turns out is directly behind the rollercoaster and I paid what I thought was a high amount for it. First, the "strip view" is really just a view of the roller coaster w/ a little of the excalibur. Second, the room was straight out of the seveneties brown on brown, with a bathtub I don't know who would sit in. Gross. I've seen better at the Best Western. Third, I went to sleep in one of the double beds only to realize a couple of hours later that there was some sort of sand/grit on the sheets and I got a rash from it. I just didn't have time to do a middle of the night move, so I had to make do with the other bed. Fourth, I needed to get clothes laundered for my meeting the following morning and paid extra for the rush for the following morning. They claimed they left a message on my phone that it was ready but there was no message light flashing on my phone in the room. I had to track them down and tell them to bring it up to my room. And so I was late to my meeting. I have nothing good to say about my stay there.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 135Center of the Strip action, great nite life but.........
Hotel charges $3.00 for local calls - whether made or not. This is auto billed to room. At the Pool , which is too small for # of guests, you are only allowed one towel per person- no matter what.Room is nice but not special. Probably would try others at similar price.
