Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 28Excellent Service
The Hilton was pretty much what I expected from the hotel chain. We went to Daytona for bike week and considering the mass of people, the service was excellent. I booked a smoking room and the hotel turned out to be all non-smoking. When I called the front desk, they quickly changed my room to one with a terrace so I could go outside to smoke. It had a better view also. The room was clean but I would suggest eating out because the prices were pretty steep at the in-house places.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 28too little service for too much money
The hotel front desk staff was nice until I had to change room locations. I asked for an oceanfront room and they put me in one BEHIND the restaurant. The only way I could have seen the ocean was if I climbed that wall. Wanted extra fees for internet, tiny microwave, and refrigerator- ammenities that are free at lower than this price hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 28Perfect Location
The hotel is right on the beach. Local vendor rental beach chair packages at a very reasonable price. The location on the broadwalk is perfect walking distance to the Pier, Oceanwalk Mall and outdoor stage. There is also a great BBQ joint right across the street as well as as the water park. All the hotel staff were very pleasent and attentive. The sport bar needs more staffing on the weekend because they do serve food also. The room in general was spacious but the bathroom was a bit small. Time to upgrade to flat screen TVs. Valet parking is expensive and the parking across the street is not bad. If you chose to park across the street they should allow you to valet your bags or stoe they in your room first. I was told to leave them on the side in front of the hotel while I parked. Overall it was a very good stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 28Daytona Beach Hilton
We had a great stay! The only downfall is that the volleyball court is apparently on city property and there are some very rude locals who were hogging it. It reached the point where one of the guys (who refused to get off the court for 3 hours) called the cops on us because we were tired of waiting and let him know either he gets off the court or lets us join them as they were playing 2 on 2. Outside of that, the hotel was great! The dining was good, the bars were good, and the overall service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Daytona Beach.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 28Reunion with Foster sister in 16 years
I had not seen my foster sister or her mom in 16 years. I was very excited! We went to the hotel and was greeted by someone at our car. They took our luggage and told us where to park for self parking which is cheaper that valet. We checked in and were told where to find our room. We had a great room except the closet door feel off it's hinges...bifold door. I was a bit dissappointed because...let's face it it is a hilton and there were no hilton robes which I thought were customary, but I got over that part. We had a second room for the following night for friends/family. We checked in the second room and thankfully I wanted to check out the room before our friends/family arrived. Good thing too because there were no towels, the dirty ones were in the closet. I called housekeeping and got greeted by my last name and was appologize to and assured that they would take care of the problem. When our guests arrived everything was great. I was trying to get an ajoining room, but they were unable to accomidate us. They kept us on the same floor however but they were about 10 doors down and around the corner. Our neighbors who had the ajoining room had a child who would scream in the middle of the night "Mommy!! Mommy wake UP!! I'm dirty!!" yes I could hear each word the child yelled. Also I was able to hear their cell phone going off as well. On our second night someone seemed to be in a room perhaps above us or at least near us in some way playing a guitar. All in all I thought our stay was good because I had fun with my foster sister. I just thought that the rooms would be a bit more "sound proof". After a hard night of partying like a rock star you don't wanna wake up to a screaming child at 6 or 7 am. I did expect more from the HILTON, but we had a blast and the fireworks were great!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 28Not worth the price
at this hotel, u need to pay for parking each day of your stay there. The parking lot is located a few buildings behind the hotel with a 10 minute walk and security is not there 24 hr a day. The pools are small...For the cost to stay at this hotel, i will not recommend it to anyone. I surely expected more for the hilton, their other hotels are a lot better than this one.

one of the better hotels by the beach, the parking lot was close by. The location was right where I wanted to be, I would stay there again if it was in the same price range. I had a great view of the beach which I requested. I did'nt have any problems, Thank you.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 28Great hotel location in Daytona
This hotel is one of the nicest on the beach in Dayton. It's very convenient to the OceanWalk mall and attractions. The only problem with this hotel is the valet parking. It costs $16.00 per day plus tips. And in the evening when everyone needs their car at the same time, you could have a 20 minute wait. Also, there is a $10.00 per day charge for internet service unless you use the free zones in the hotel. Other than that, it's a wonderful property with great views and good restraunts. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend it for short trips but not for a full week at the beach.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 28Great night away,
I'm a 30 year old male that was looking to get out of Orlando for the night with a few friends. I work two jobs and I'm also a student so this isn't always easy. We arrived easy enough and check in was a breeze with an automated kiosk. (note:I was double charged because of a communication error between reservations and the kiosk but I've been assured that this will be fixed) We ate at Doc Bales before going out, the food was not bad, the service was not bad. Drink prices were suprisingly good although I'm not sure if that's because we are off season. We then went out for the night and the hotel's location put us ten minutes from anything worth doing in Daytona Beach (walking and cabbing). The room was very clean and big enough for 4 guests to be comfortable. The ocean view was a great way to wake up in the morning and stare at for an hour before leaving. For the price (off season) I could do this once a month and I think the hotel should try to get more "local out-of-towners" interested.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 28Great Hotel
We went to this hotel for a girls weekend and it was great. The hotel is located within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops. We ate at the hotel for lunch and it was very good and reasonably priced. The only complaint we had was with the elevators. You have to use your room key to activate the elevator and several times we were stuck in limbo because we didn't insert key fast enough for it to register we were in the elevator. But over all we would go back here again. The staff were all very helpful. And, in the summer there were fireworks over the pier right outside the hotel.
