Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 32Needs Major Updates!
The staff at the hotel was very friendly. However the hotel is way too pricey considering the rooms were dated. The lobby of the hotel is very nice, but the rooms are just okay. The carpet in the halls are very worn and dirty looking. The rooms weren't that clean. The rug in the bathroom was torn up, bath tub clogged up. The armoir in the room was extremely dusty, and the tv is a console, not a flat screen that's ridiculous. We weren't given the room that I booked online either. Overall not worth the price at all!

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 32Excellent stay
Very clean, great rates, excellent staff and beautiful hotel. The only bad mark was the band playing down near the bar on Saturday night. They were loud and awful. I'll make sure they're not playing the next time we stay or we'll go somewhere else...

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 32Nice Hotel
We had a good time at the Hilton. Hotel was nice and the room was clean. The hotel is right on the beach. Parking is $9 a day and accross the street. There are no balconies in any of the rooms. It is a sliding door that open to a railing.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 32Great ocean view and hotel but food service needs attention
Great hotel with beautiful ocean view and pool. The service, quality of food, and cleanliness of restaurants and bars were in great need of improvement.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 32Good deal for a weekend away
The price was good for a seaside room, however Hilton's standards weren't as high as I'd expect. Upon arriving at the hotel we had to wait in line for a half hour before we could check in. Other guests told us they had waited between an hour to 2 and a half hours. That's ridiculous! The rooms were lower quality I guess from the rough wear of sand and wet swimsuits. The live "tropical" band was somewhat annoying - we would have preferred they didn't play. Service was not always quick and expedient. We went into one of the hotel's restaurants for lunch - it was 2:30 and had no more than 4 seated tables - the waitress said she was swamped and if we wanted to stay it would be a 45 minute wait on food. She obviously didn't want to serve us - even when we made it easy by coming to her with our orders and getting our water and soda from the bar so she didn't have to take our order and bring it to us. This hotel and stay at Daytona was the equivalent of a Carnival cruise. You get what you paid for.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 32Excellent Hotel...needs improvement...pros and conns are...
My girlfriend and I stayed one night. Checked in with Toby from front desk and if it weren't for his great attitude and service skills, I wouldn't have score this hotel as high. We loved the room. It was clean and had a great view. We loved the location, it was very convenient. We didn't like the snobby service we got from Hydes steak restaurant in the lobby. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and wasn't greeting until bartender finished counting her cashier drawer, 30 minutes after they opened. I asked the hostess where the bathroom was and she was going to send me to the lobby bathroom. I guess because it was happy hour with reduced apps and drinks, we weren't worthy of better service. My girlfriend also wanted to sit outside but by the bar and the bartender said they don't open the window from outside access because it wasn't cold enough outside and she didn't want condensation on the floor. Piss poor attitude by the way...lefta bad taste in my mouth....too bad. Its hard to get good service in a biker beach town...its too bad because I tip well, based on service ofcourse. The hotel also locked my girlfriend and I on the pool deck when a thunder storm was directly over head...we couldnt get in until we used the emergency and after 20 minutes the MANAGER let us in...amazing. They did give a free breakfast the next morning, a reward for not getting struck by lightning. Besides all that we had a great time and would return for the convenience and not Hydes Restaurant. Have fun!

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 32pets
The hotel was great, we're returning guests. I understand travelers with pets need somewhere to go, too bad it's the Hilton in Daytona. Walking through pets in the hall is one thing, but having a drink and an appetizer in the lounge and having someone walk in with their dog is just wrong. Probably won't return.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 32Not bad
It's right in front of a stage area and a busy shopping center were events happen on the boardwalk and has it's own nice pool etc. but it's not the place where all the spring breakers are at if thats what you are interested in. I got a room with clear bleach/throwup stains in the hallways leading to it. There was a new and old tower, I am guessing the new tower was in better condition but I told him I didn't care. Some of the more party style hotels are closer to the clubs and have more going on in the pool area which is closer to the beach. Nothing unexpected really but it's not super high quality and you won't be were all the craziness is going down either so there is no real upside to this place.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 32Great room for the money
We went during Christmas holidays and got a very good deal. The only thing that bugged us is the elevators. You use your room card to use the elevator and sometimes it doesn't work. They told us that you should not put that card near credit cards or cell phones!!!. Also they charge you for the parking. Even for non valet parking. Convenience of the parking location is just OK.

This hotel was just fine for a one night stay. However the room did not have any soaps, or toliet paper. There was also mold growing in the grout lines of the tub. I was not impresses with the hotel overall my thought of staying at a Hilton was with much more luxury. They spent all there money in the lobby and nothing on the rooms.
