Close to great restaurants and American Airlines Center!

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 29Great Hotel
Downtown was very near by, we didn't have to drive very far to get to where we wanted to go. The surrounding area was very nice. The hotel personnel were very helpful. We hardly had to drive anywhere seeing that there is a hotel shuttle that will take you where you need to go. This hotel was very nice and I believe that we paid less than what it was worth! It was definately worth booking this hotel. I would absolutley recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel was overall no good, the room looked cleaned but it really wasn't. The tray along with other items in the room were dirty! & To top it off, the bedroom sheets smelled dirty!!

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 29what a treat
Without mentioning specific prices, I believe we paid 1/2 to 1/3 of what our room normally would have been, though I didn't inquire at the desk what the normal rate is. The hotel definitely fell into the category of upscale, yet with it came upscale practices...such as charging for parking in their own parking lot, charging for internet access, and no continental breakfast. My husband didn't realize this, and was pounced on as he attempted to bring 2 coffees back to our room. I imagine most people who can afford to stay at such a place either write off the bill as a business expense or are so well-off they wouldn't notice such "frivolities" admidst room service and massage fees. Still, the bed linen felt royal, and having a sitting area physically separated from the bedroom was fab, and cleanliness wasn't even a consideration - the place is posh.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 29Good for the money
Good- Room was very clean, balcony looked out at the downtown skyline, two plasma TV's, proximity to highway. Bad- Bedroom was a little small. You had to turn sideways to walk between the king size bed and the wall. There were signs about paying $7/night for parking, but I didn't turn in the parking paper they gave me, and was not charged. The neighborhood isn't the best, but you jump right on the highway, and you're out of there. I got a good rate so I was satisfied. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. I would stay again for the same price.

Hotel room was not clean, glasses dirty and linens extremely wrinkled. The bed was too hard and very uncomfortable. Will not go back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 29Great hotel for the price!
Upon my arrival the staff was very friendly and provided a very quick check-in. Although my bed was not made when I got to my room (duvet was off the comforter and comforter laid on the living room couch - sheets and undermakings on bed appeared to be fresh and clean but unfinished - pillows laid in pile in corner of room on floor with no pillow covers), the front desk clerk quickly apoligized and asked if I prefered to switch room. Since I didn't really mind too much and didn't mind waiting for the duvet to come out of the dryer (the dryers were taking longer than normal to dry), the hotel offered me free full-breakfast vouchers for my entire stay. Other then that initial mishap, I loved my first experiance with the Sheraton Suites Market Place. I would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat! The room was a bit cramped but nothing to complain about.

The hotel was great. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. The room was clean, large, and well decorated. The sheets were a bit tough, but needed a little getting used to. The walls were a little thin and we could hear our neighbors opening and shutting their door a lot. The free internet downstairs helped out a lot. Great location, right off of I-35, but no noise from the traffic. Will definitely be staying there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 29Very comfortable
The bedroom was a little small for the bed and furniture, but the living area was nice and there was two new flat screen TVs which was really nice. Nice size bathroom. Nice bar and service.
