great room for the money

the room was clean,they have free wi-fi,and the breakfast was good in the morning.

Decent Hotel, Needs Improvement

Was happy with everything at first until our 2nd room did not have the double beds we originally booked, it all went downhill from there. Our magnetic room key quit working and they couldn't fix it, had to have them come and physically open it every time (all after about 5 very long trips to the front desk trying to fix the card!) Beds were comfortable, but we woke up to find ants all over the place in our room. We were glad to leave but the hotel would be very nice especially for the money if they made a few small, yet very important improvements!

This hotel is an acceptable for the price paid. The beds are very uncomfortable. But the room and bathroom was clean. It has a pool which looked to be well kept. The waffles at breakfast very good. It appears to me that there were several families staying there for an extended amount of time so there were lots of kids running around.

Not bad for the price

The price was great, and the hotel was nice and clean. But the bed was horrible. It was too soft and no support whatsoever. I woke up with my back sore the next morning. Other than that, it was ok.

Awesome Value!!

This hotel was very well maintained, was in a great neighborhood, and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone staying in the Kansas City area!!

Very Nice!

Very nice and comfortable! Great for those of us on a budget!!

Nice Price, Nice Place

Everything was great! It is an older hotel, but it is clean and comfortable. The shower did take a bit to warm up but other than that our stay was nice. If you are on a budget and just want to find a nice place to sleep I would definately recommend this hotel.

WOW, what a great hotel, and the cost was impressive

I was shocked by what a great hotel this is, especially when you see that it is clearly one of the lowest prices in the area! They have a wonderful breakfast too! The hotel has been remodeled and there are the usual quirks that come with that, but it was extremely comfortable, clean, and very easy access-right off of the highway. I have and will again use this hotel for any occasion in Kansas City. One thing to know, they are in KS not MO, this can make it hard to find if your using a GPS device:) Thanks!

Vast improvement needed

Based on the experiences of myself and friends, I would not recommend this hotel. They overbooked a friend's reserved suite and pushed him out, refusing to comp any of the three rooms they used to replace the suite. On the second day of my stay, in early afternoon, they checked me out without explanation; when I attempted to correct this and get my room back, the staff started to get surly with me in reaction to my (I would hope understandable) exasperation. That very morning, they also refused to restock towels in the room of a pair of married friends, instructing this couple to "come down and get them." They used a long-outdated hand log for recording who was staying where, when a computer would have been so much more accurate, and may even have saved them the trouble.

It's OK for the money

The room quality is quite good. However, the service is somewhat needed improvement. No clean towers had been changed. One of my roommates were a huge snoring person. I asked the front desk for a temp. room at 6:00 a.m. It turned out I had to pay for 2 days for that. Lastly, the hotel is kind of far away from downtown KSC and there were so many construction on the highway. It always took 30 - 45 min. to reach the destinations. In general, this hotel is great for the money but not for convenience.
