Exceeded Expectations

First off, I do not stay at any hotels that do not have TVs without basic AV inputs on them because I bring my DVD player with me on trips to watch movies on the TVs in the hotel rooms. I called this hotel beforehand and asked if the TVs had these inputs so I could plug in my DVD player and the associate immediately confirmed that they did. Upon arriving I noticed that he was right and I very easily was able to plug in my DVD player for a weekend full of movie watching. The reason why I mention this fact is because I have had my DVD player with me while visiting a few hotels in the past only to be disappointed that their TVs could not accommodate the DVD player's plug-in requirements. I could have saved myself the money and time if there was only one review with information on the TV features. Not many people travel with their DVD players, but for movie gurus like myself this information is mandatory and can make or break a hotel stay. The room itself was very well-kept and clean and the cleaners knew exactly when I left the room for lunch the next day because when I came back to my room it was already cleaned and the towels were replaced. The staff were friendly and I even had the front-desk associate offer to look up movie times for me after I was frustrated I could not find the number for a local theater. The bed was soft and comfy and the hotel is located very closely to Town Center Plaza, where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants at your convenience. With the occasional one or two honks of a car after pulling up to a parking space, there were absolutely no noises outside of the room that I could hear. I highly recommend Settle Inn Overland Park. This will remain my hotel of choice in Overland Park from now on.

Very Consistent

I stay here all the time and everytime its been a pleasent stay. The rooms are always clean and the furniture is always fucntional (nothing broken). Except this was the first time I had a refrigerator in my room. It wasnt the best looking thing but it was functional. Now all they need to do is put a microwave in the room and it would be perfect. Also my lady and I stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite on one occassion and all I can say is it's the BOMB!! If you want to impress this is the room to reserve, with great sheets, pleanty of pillows, fire place and flat screen tv you cant go wrong on this one!! But I suggest you get it for more than one night cause your not gonna want to leave after one! Settle in your doing a grreat job just wished I could find you in other places I visit on a regular basis, keep up the good work.

Very Confortable Room

Nice for the price ...

The hotel was clean and has the basic amenities. There is also a small outdoor pool. The breakfast could be better, then again, considering the price point, this is a fair deal overall ...
