Small rooms

The rooms were very small. If you are staying for more than a day or two, I would not recommend.

Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel

Everyone on staff, from the housekeepers to the managers, couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly.

Consistently quality service

I stay here about once a month or so and have found the service to be very reliable, with friendly and helpful staff.

no lock for the bathroom

very pricy. I wish they have lock for the bathroom door. Hotel staff were good.

Nice Hotel

The hotel was nice-good location in Clayton. Beds were probably recently added-very comfortable.

affordable hotel in good location

Hotel is located in Clayton MO (close to downtown St Louis) which is a business area. Other hotels in the area are pretty pricey (Ritz Carlton). A lot of business meetings are held at the Sheraton.

Great hotel - free shuttle!

Free shuttle to/from airport if you call ahead, plus shuttle available until 10PM to various locations in St Louis - depending on availablity (call ahead and double check with guest services, they did forget us one time....). Our room was new everything (smelled new) and with contemporary furnishings, pictures not stock paintings, comfy bed and pillows. As you hear sometimes with hotels and hotels.com, when we arrived they had us down for a Queen instead of the King bed I purposely selected and guaranteed. They insisted we had a queen, and I was about to show them my confirmation paper to assure them I should have a King for the price I was guaranteed, but they went ahead and gave in and made the change without much fuss (just a little attitude). Otherwise, great hotel. Quiet and clean.

Sheraton Clayton

This is a great hotel with a wonderful friendly and helpful staff. The only negative was one very unfriendly and unpleasant front desk clerk who checked me out of the hotel. He was in his late 20's/early 30'S with a clean shaven bald head and glasses. He was likely one of the worst hospitality workers I've ever met. I highly recommend you ask for someone else if this guy is working at the desk.

great transportation

Very nice room,but lights were to bright in the hallway and it show under the door.Save energie and money with motion lights detecteurs. Great bathroom.
