High Class hotel in high class neighborhood

This hotel exceeded our expectations relative to quality for the money in a London hotel. This is a 5-star hotel in the heart of the high class neighborhood of Mayfair, with easy access to the Tube, the tour buses, shopping, Buckingham Palace, etc. The rooms were typical European size, but very well decorated and and supplied. B&O flat screen, recessed lighting, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

great deal

excellent hotel in a wonderful section of town. Convenient location, nice amenities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Wow!

London in the off season is such a great deal if you hit decent weather and this hotel is the perfect place to stay if you go. Located very close to the tube you are within 2-3 stops of many of London's great places to visit. The hotel itself is amazing. Ultramodern meets traditional English design with plenty of room to spread out after a long day in the city. I would highly recommend this hotel and will look forward to staying here on my next visit to London.

Don't send out laundry

I asked for heavy starch on the laundry that I sent out and I got back a barely ironed shirt, which I was embarrassed to wear. Otherwise the hotel was good except that in an effort to make up for the small size of the room they pack alot of items in small places, where you would not normally look. But they do give you a few extras that are nice like some fruit and cookies with coffee.

needs improvement

not a tranquil hotel. The noise outside our third floor was so loud all night long. It sounded like a parade was going through town. The apartments across the street could see right into our room. The staff was stripping our bed hours before check out time.....we would never stay in this hotel again.

Great hotel in perfect London location

Comming in from Heathrow one gets off at Green Park underground (Piccadilly line), walks up a few steps and then one block to the Hotel. The staff greets you enthusiastically and within mere minutes you are in your room. The rooms are of very high quality with nice amenities. Small touches like a slacks pressing machine were nice touches. I was disappointed with the Consierge desk as they dropped the ball on two dinner reservations. This and the annoying fact that in Europe one is still expected to pay an extra fee for internet (10 Quid for a day!!!!!) are the only things that kept this from being a perfect stay
