What a change from the last time I stayed here about 4 months ago!! The staff - valet, front desk, pool bar were all very very friendly and helpful!!!! Must have been the change from the loud music crowd to a more mellow relaxed crowd, Great job changing the setting at the pool!

Beautiful Rooms

Great location! Beautiful rooms! This place was definetly worth the price compared to others nearby. Very upscale modern decor. The only things we saw wrong were the elevator on the west wing. It didn't go up for us so we had to take the stairs. We also had a dresser draw that didn't want to stay shut. Minor things, but overall the experience was great.

Nice Room, But Pool is Small

If you are looking to party by the pool, you may want to consider another location. However, if you are looking for a hotel close to downtown Palm Springs (walking distance), with nice comfy amenities, then this is the room for you. There were many small touches which made the room enjoyable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Lax and arbitrary enforcement of rules reall diminished this hotel's overall quality

The staff is nice at this hotel and the rooms are really good quality. Clean and free Internet! The pool is atrocious. When you first see it, you think, "is this a prison yard?" Where are the palm trees or at least umbrellas or landscapting? I think I could have overlooked that, but they allowed a lot of very rowdy people into the pool area from surrounding hotels for parties. Smoking in the pool and loud parties all night all around the property (including the pool really ruined the stay. Zoso was a quality hotel, but they seem to have sold out for ANYONE who can pay the rate to stay there (it was on the mid-range side the weekend I stayed there). The people who stayed there could not respect the rules and it made it feel like a chaotic free for all sadly.

Great Value

As a first time visitor to Palm Springs the Hotel Zoso was a great choice. It's right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to just about everything you need while in town. The pool is a bit small for the size of the hotel which may be of concern if staying in summer. But overall friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel for the Money

Surprisingly nice

The hotel was very affordable and only one block from downtown. The room was extremely comfprtable and modern, as well as the hotel in general. there was no gym in the hotel but they had shuttle service to a real gym that was free of charge for hotel guests. already booking it again for august.

Zoso...interesting name

The name fits the hotel for sure. An all modern environment so be prepared to have "modern" looking guests. We didn't mind that however we stayed there to go to the Tramway to do some bouldering and didn't quite fit the scene. The comfort and staff were very nice and helpful when needed. The only drawback is that to have your car in their garage you need to pay the daily $20 valet parking fee. I was unaware of that and for 3 days I didn't want to pay the $60 just to have someone park my truck. The front desk did mention there was free parking around the hotel and we had to find it...it was right across the street!

Nice Property

It's a nice property, but the clientele on the weekend we stayed (2 rooms) was questionable. Of course, not the hotel's fault, but if looking for a more 'gay' property in downtown, i'd probably not stay here.

Customer Service

I have to say that when we first arrived we were pleasantly impressed with the hotel and its ammenities. The attitude of the most of the staff was terrible!! Very rude!

Has Potential

Our stay at Hotel Zoso was adequate. The property was slightly shabby. The room was not cleaned well, and had to find housecleaning staff to ask for Bath towels. The staff was very friendly, but somehow seemed as though they were new, and were just trained the day before. I can't say that I didn't enjoy my visit although I would have been disappointed had I paid full price. Over-all the property has great potential!
