Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 39Hidden Fees and Costly Extras
Went to Palm Springs on business and a colleague recommended Hotel Zoso. I was surprised by the hefty valet fee, and likewise the fact that I was not allowed to park in the empty parking garage if I did not pay the fee. Instead, I had to park on the street. I was also charged a large flat fee for convenience, ie, room service. I had no intention of ordering room service and expressed that, but they charged me anyway then removed the charge when I checked out. The elevator requires you to insert your room key before you can access rooms above the first floor. The woman at the check-in desk did not tell me that, so I spent about five minutes in the closed elevator before I figured it out. The room was decent, but there had obviously been a wall-mounted TV that had been torn out and a very small television substituted in its place. In fact, I had to plug in the TV. The rooms do not include a coffee maker or refrigerator, but do include a room-service menu. It seems pretty obvious that Hotel Zoso does not want you to have food in your room unless you've ordered it from their lobby restaurant. All in all, this was a very disappointing hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 39PERFECT
We stay here every time we are in town(about 8-10 times a year), and we are never disappointed. Everything is within walking distance, the shuttle is excellent, the pool and hot tub are clean as a whistle, the bed is super comfortable, and the staff is all awesome. Even high speed internet is actually high speed. We love this hotel. You wont be disappointed either!

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 39Dreamy and Peaceful
When I arrived the hotel personnel (vallay & busboy) were very friendly, I was surprised based on the temp of over 115 degrees. My room was spacious and very calming. The added extras such as happy hour and movie at the pool just added comfort to a much weary traveller who needed peace. Koodos! Zoso! I'll be back.

I did not know about the extra cost for valet parking, but otherwise, nice hotel and great location.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 39Great hotel, central location
The rooms are very nice moderne chic. Pool is a tad small and warm but the location is awesome. Close to the gay area and downtown shopping. Price is amazingly good for the elegance.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 39Excellent location & value for the money
The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping. It was reportedly renovated 3 years ago with very nice and modern deco. Clean and comfortable room. Highly recommended.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 39Great Hotel Only One Problem
Zoso was a good stay, but we did hit a snag. I had booked the room for my daughter and was paying for all the charges (I was not with her at the time). The hotel indicated to Hotels.com that I could fax to the hotel a copy of credit card and drivers license to cover incidentals OR she could put up a $100 cash deposit. When she arrived to check in the front desk indicated that she needed to do both. It took some phone calls and discussion to get clarification and I was ultimately able to get set up with the credit card option, but it was clumsy at check in, at best.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 39Need Temperature Controls in Room
Was booked for 3 nights but left after the first. The room was stifling hot in mid January! Had to have maintenance come up and set the thermostat and within a couple hours it went back to hot. Talked to several others staying there they had the same problem. Insist on an inside (pool)room, mine backed to the street and with door open (due to hot room) early morning traffic woke me up. Location was the BEST and rooms were comfortable.
