Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 33Want to pay to sleep on the floor
We booked a room with a king size bed. When we checked in we received a Queen. Called the front desk to check on what could be done. My brother spent his Honeymoon on the floor. He could have done that for free at home. No other rooms were available and so we were told we could only have the Queen even though we had booked the room 3 days in advance. called later to talk to the General manager and was told I would receive a phone call back in 30-45 min. Its been 2 days and I haven't heard from them. Even if you use a 3rd party like Hotels.com you should be able to have some kind of resolution to the problem.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 33Missing Some Conveniences
The hotel was comfortable, beautiful and clean. However it is in a noice location. Parking is not convenience. I was not please with not have breakfast room service. I should have checked that prior to reservations. Thank goodness thay had a coffee bar in the lobby. Unfortunatly a lot of businessed in the city are closed on Sunday, we could not get a bagel or a danish for a quick breakfas. For the cost, it is not a place that I would stay again or recommend.

The Peery Hotel is a charming historic hotel in a great location. The room was a little small, but the bed was huge and very comfortable. The decor was beautiful, and we loved the historic feel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 33A wonderful getaway
What a wonderful hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room’s furnishings were comparable with the Hotel Monaco. The only negatives, our room only had a shower, and the hotel does not have any parking. All in all, I'd gladly stay there again.

My wife and I chose the Peery as a local getaway. It is close to great food, shopping, and almost anything else you want to do downtown salt lake. The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the hotel and our quick getaway.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 33Charming Gem in the heart of Downtown!
My fiance and I stayed at The Peery the night before our wedding and it was everything we were looking for! The front desk staff was knowledgable about the surrounding area, and check-in went quite smoothly. The room was quiant! A little canopy over the bed and a wonderful Tempurpedic mattress - very romantic :) The only complaint my fiance had was that the vanity was in the room as opposed to being in the bathroom, but I had no problem with that! I will definitely reccommend The Peery in the future.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 33Great Historic Hotel
The service and cleanliness of this hotel is unparalled to other hotels! I stay in Salt Lake City often mostly at large chain hotels. I thought this hotel might be a nice change and it certainly was! The service was great, and the bathroom (which is important to me) is absolutely spotless. The only small thing is that the rooms are a little small but I guess that comes with the territory of a historic hotel. Absolutely I would recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 33Charming Hotel
Beautiful room - cozy, but perfect for the two of us. Room was a little warm, even with cool air going. Loved the restaurant choices - all within walking distance. Beautiful decor - very charming and tons of character. Parking was easy & the self-pay rate was reasonable ($10 for overnight). Loved the Starbucks in the morning. GREAT place to stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 33Great getaway
Everything was great. The ice machine was broken on our floor the first night, and on the second night it was broken on both floors, but the staff took great care of us. Rooms are small, but it was expected considering the age of the hotel. Had a great time, and the staff and the restaurant were fabulous.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 33Great hotel for the price
This hotel was recommended by a friend and it was a great value for price. Our room was beautiful and had charm that you don't find in chain hotels. There was a stain on the bedspread and some debris in the canopy and unfortunately the windows didn't open. Otherwise is was a great hotel. The service was exceptional. I would definately recommend it.

-Hotel service was great. -Room was a little small. -Location is great convience. -This hotel is old, can hear wood creaking noise when someone in the room above mine was moving around. -Free coffee and tea served all day in the lobby. -Hotel parking is across the street, $10 per night. -About 30 min from ski resorts. -8 minutes to SLC airport.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 33Disappointing
My stay at the Peery Hotel was just ok. Definitely not worth what I paid for one night. The room is REALLY small and I noticed some of the staff had pretty bad attitudes. They were arguing with each other right in front of me and my husband. It was hard to watch. Oh, and they lost our reservation and made us pay a ridiculous amount for one night of parking. The bed was comfortable and the other furniture nice. I just expected more for what I paid.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 33Excellent Hotel
My husband and I stayed at the Peery Hotel on our wedding night. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Our only complaint was that the mattress wasn't very soft at all, but then again, no bed is quite the same as your own :-)
