Not an outstanding experience. Nice bedding. Small rooms. Good location. Fair on value. SLC has better deals.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 44No Breakfast Room Service
I loved this hotel! I just wish they had room service in the morning. The room service coincides with the restaurant hours, which is only lunch and dinner. They do have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby for guests.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 44Great historic hotel
Great room for the money. I loved the fact that the room and hotel had character. My husband and I like historic hotels and this one exceeded our expectations. The bathroom was extremely small, but it worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 44Insanely small rooms
I booked a king size bed/room for myself and my teenage daughter for one night. We were given a queen bed instead and then told there were no rooms available though I barely saw anyone else on our floor. There was no room for a suitcase except in the small hall which would have blocked the door, the noise from the fan was deafening and kept us awake all night. If we turned it off we couldn't breathe. The large windows are painted shut. The bathroom is equally hard to manuver in. One reaches under the skin to get to the TP. Tiny. When I tried to talk to them I got no help. Parking is expenive in their "self park" lot, though convenient.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 9 of 44Good room for the money
We booked the room for a weekend getaway. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of a lot of downtown attractions. The room was small as was the bathroom and shower but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was great. Our TV was not working and within 10 minutes they had replaced the TV in the room. For the price we paid for the room it was a nice place to stay. We highly recommend the hotel.

Everything was wonderful about this hotel except the heater did not work very well. Fortunately it was not very cold outside. The people there were very helpful. Would definately stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 44Plumbing
This is a quaint little hotel at a reasonable price but the plumbing is always a problem. Slow, slow drains. It has always been that way. Other than that I would recomemnd it to anyone not traveling with a large family since the rooms are small. Nice bar and restaurant connected to the hotel also.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 44Great Hotel
I stayed at The Peery for a short ski vacation in December 08. I received an EXCELLENT rate from hotels.com. Service was outstanding. Dinner at Christopher's (inside hotel) was great. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very quiet. I would definitely stay there again. My only problem was with an I-pod port in the room. The clock radio has an i-pod port built in. It worked fine for me, until I disengaged it. The i-pod hasn't worked since. Could be coincidence, but I'd recommend staying away from the i-pod port. Shout out to Joe the Doorman! He does a great job.
