Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 9Excellent Choice
We had a great stay at this hotel. Service was terrific, and could not have been better. The spa and gym facilities were the best that I have seen ,immaculate, and great variety of equipment.Convenient location to Palm Drive and restaurants and activites. Would definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 9check-in
We arrived @3:45pm to a huge line of people checking in. The line took up most of the lobby and lots of unhappy campers chit-chatting about how they only had 2 people at the front desk, one which was very slow at this very busy time. We had not stayed there for 6 years and noticed how run-down it had become. The new Casino was gorgeous however. Perhaps they should focus on the hotel now.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 9checking in
upon checking in on our 4pm arrival, we experienced an unusually high volume of disgruntaled guests waiting in line for hours, which they cheerfully shared with all of us in the line. The guest check in counter had 2 agents only for the 30 people waiting. Perhaps the Spa Casino Staff could of pulled together during this hardship so they could of been more productive and had happy guests checking in for the first time. I know times are hard, but I heard one person say "Oh the Manager and Concierge are in a meeting'...how sad is that? Those two extra bodies would of made a huge differnce...just my opinion and FYI...

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 9Great Room for the Money
I enjoyed this small hotel, the staff was friendly and nice. I was able to check in very early. There Valets took me anywhere I wanted to go, make sure you tip them $5-$10 the first time then 1$ each time they take you anywhere they will love you and treat you like a king. My room was very nice, wireless internet available thru AT&T good signals. Poolside bar offers good service including a Hot Dog lunch & tasty Mai-Tai's at "dive bar prices."

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 9Hotel is Okay but not Great
The pictures of the outside of the hotel were of the casino which looked like a beautiful Spanish Villa, but the hotel was a separate building that was typical of old hotels from the late 70's or early 80's. The room and the hotel were alright, but the decorations lacked the cohesiveness and refinement of 4 or 5 star hotels. The people who worked at the hotel were very nice and polite. The 3 and 1/2 star rating is quite appropriate.
