Could be great

This is my first trip to this propery. The room was a mini king suite poolside. The room was pretty comfy. The house keeping came anywhere from 8:00am to 4:30pm. They didn't repleace soap or shampoo and some times didn't come at all. The breakfast service was pretty shoddy. No fruit, white bread and mini bagels. the had two adult cereals and a flavored coffee machine. They had yogurt one day. My children weren't with me but, they wouldn't care for this part of the service. The two pools were great but the adult pool is only a suggestion, there were kids in the adult pool every day. No towels provided at pool or sauna. They have steam and dry saunas.I tried for three days to get batteries for my remote, finally supplied my own. They staff says "I'm sorry" a lot but very slow if they act on a complaint.

Great hotel

Everything I needed was already in the room (i.e. coffee maker, iron), did not have to ask for extras. Also, the continental breakfast had a great variety to choose from. Not just your standard fruit and bagels.

Nice hotel for the money...

This hotel was nice. I did want to check in early though as it was listed on my paperwork I could check in at 3pm, and then when I arrived the staff told me 4pm which threw my whole schedule off as I had a wedding rehearsal to do at 5pm. The room was a good size and ample parking. There was only conditioner for hair, no shampoo and only bar soap , no bath wash either which is usually standard. The continental breakfast was nice and staff friendly. My key did not work on the last night of my stay and when I called the lobby there was no one to send out to help me that late at night so I had to make my way back to my car and drive up to the lobby to get a new key. I would stay here again for the money.

Exceeded my expectations

Room was larger than one would expect for the price. Bed and bedding wonderful. Desk clerk a little unfriendly. Room not made up by 5:00 pm when I arrived.

Great hotel for the money

I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel grounds and rooms were as nice as they are for the rate I got. Their shuttle service was superior. They were available anytime I needed to go to the convention center or airport. Very helpful and friendly drivers. Breakfast was average but free. Next door is a great breakfast restaurant and across the street an excellent lunch/dinner restaurant. Highly recommend Shilo Inn.

Roomy, clean and quiet!

I stayed at the Shilo Inn on Nov. 7 &8 while I attended a Math conference. The room was spacious and very clean! I was surprised to see that it had a mini fridge , microwave and sofa bed. The staff was very kind and helpful. They gave me a map and directions to the convention center. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great hotel- would stay again

The only thing I did not like was that the desk was not open 24 hours. I had a very early morning flight and tried to go check out at about 4:30 a.m. and it was locked. But overall, it was very good service, a friendly staff, clean room and convenient location. I would stay there again if going to Palm Springs.

Not as Represented

The hotel was pleasant enough,the desk staff not very pleasant or helpful and the accomodations were not as booked. I Was informed we would have mini-suite off of the pool, on ground floor, and was given upper floor with no view access.

Great room for the money

The staff was a little short but the rooms made up for it. They were comfortable and larger then most rooms for this price.
