Delta Chelsea Hotel

Needs Improvement

The rooms were very small in comparison to hotels I've stayed at in the past. Beds and pillows were not comfortable, hallways had many cracks & holes on the ceilings and walls. Overall the hotel needs many updates and is way too expensive for the lack of comfort it offers.

Great Hotel

Loved the indoor water slide pool. It was a nice place - very relaxing.

Nice place

Nice hotel. No complaints. Great value considering the location, service level and the prices charged by other nearby hotels. Close to shopping. 20 minute walk to Chinatown, 30 minute walk to CN tower.

Room worthy of the rate

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Location was close to Yonge Street which was nice but a bit far from other attractions.

Location Location Location

It is a busy and fabulous Hotel in the downtown Toronto area. Pricy, yet its all about the location when you are staying in Toronto, be prepared spend a bit for your stay, but it met a wonderful view (probably with a balcony) and in the heart of where most of the action is taking place. its possible to go cheaper but prepare to take a bus or train ride to get to anything. Friendly and welcoming staff

Great location, very helpful staff, rooms were a little smaller than expected and views were not remarkable, amenities were great and very clean hotel overall, would highly recommend.

Great location

My friends and I were in Toronto for a concert and baseball games. We thought the hotel was good for the money, and thought the location was great for the venues in Toronto we were frequenting. They do take a $100 deposit on a credit card when you check in and parking at the hotel is pricey and not included in the room rate. We parked in a garage across the street and it was cheaper than the hotel garage, which was full at our check in time anyway.

I had a great room ...

The only thing I would warn about is to try and make sure you get a floor located out of the BLUE-elevator bay. This is where I stayed and the room was very nice and as expected (good carpet, feather-pile comforter, etc). I actually was refered to the Delta Chelsea by someone taking the same trip at the same time and they ended up with a room off of the RED-elevator bay and the room wasn't as nice at all. It actually felt more like he was in a lower quality hotel. (older wallpaper,carpet,linens,etc). I don't know how much they paid but I can only HOPE it was a lot less the I paid.
