Very good hotel

However I asked for hypoallergenic bedding and they didn't do it.

Not What I Expected

The hotel room was not comfortable, in fact, it was depressing. Everything about it was one step away from a glorified hostel, way too expensive for what you get. I was on the 9th floor. Other rooms on the 23 floor where friends were staying was a bit nicer with better beds and comforters and bigger tv's. The overall layout of the hotel is confusing and inconvenient when traveling with a group of people staying in different areas of the hotel. The floors are grouped by color so you have to take a specific elevator to get to your floor, but then back to the lobby and walk over to another elevator to take that to another section of the hotel to get to other floors. The hallways were a labryinth and had poor signage. I would suggest staying elsewhere or make sure you get the upgraded room.

smokers in no smoking rooms

pleasant staff and good location, smallish but comfortable room, but there were noisy teens in the room next door and my non-smoking room had a strong stench of tobacco.

Plenty fancy, little pricey

Upscale hotel with all the basic amenities and great staff. Little pricey, though, and totally ridiculous to have to pay for something like wired internet access when the cheapest motels around now have free wi-fi.

Dated, Dirty.

Dated and Dirty. A 1.5 star hotel at best. Staff was nice - but could not make up for small dirty rooms and attrocious bathrooms.

toooooo cold!

I spent one night here in September, and although the temperature outside was below 10 degrees, the hotel only had air conditioning and NO HEAT in the building. I was freezing, and when I called the front desk I was informed that all of the portable heaters were being used by other guests. Shouldn't that make them realize something?? Perhaps people don't want AC all night in the autumn? I was offered an extra blanket instead. But my only option was to go right to bed, because I was much too cold anywhere in the hotel to stay up. Needless to say, very disappointing.

The good and the bad

The good: Great location, cleanliness,comfortable beds, good water pressure in shower. The bad: Room size (adequate for 2 people but any more and you would be ricocheting off each other, the furniture, the walls - you get the picture). Parking fees adds another $26+ to the daily rate. $12.00 charge to access internet in your room - a pure rip-off.
