Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 115Ok hotel
Got there late and wasn't able to get a king size bed the first night, eventhough that's what I requested when I booked.

The hotel was absolutely lovely and so reasonably priced. The room itself and bathroom were beautiful. Will definitely stay again very soon!!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 115The Nastiest Rooms
I'm hoping that this review reaches the hotel managers! The Showboat's room I'll rate it as -3. I reserved 2 rooms @ the Showboat for my son & his fiancee' his room was fine until they pulled back the sheets & found blood & someone burnt cigarette butts all over them. When we contacted the hotel supervisor he came right up w/an attitude to follow! The supervisor told us that he'll knock of 30 dollars off of the bill, to our surprise when it was time to check out nothing was done, it wasn't mentioned @ all. So I don't recommend the showboat for a comfortable or clean room to stay in for a little bit extra, stay @ Trump!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 115Great place in Atlantic City
The Showboat has all the great things a Casino/Hotel can have and they do it very well. First of all, it is clean and feels up to date, the hotel has convenient self parking, super buffet and other varied places to eat right on site, it is on the extreme north end of the boardwalk so it is not as crazy and honky tonk as parts of the boardwalk can be, the casino is large and it seems to me, the slots give good payouts so that you still lose, but at a slower pace than others. Though we did not use the beach, it is closer to the water than those hotels that are in midtown. We will definitely go back.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 115Gross
Hotel was dirty. Checked into our room and there was urine in the toilet and garbage in the garbage can. Check out time was at 12 and they refused to extend us another hour. Waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes for dinner/room service. Really crappy hotel and seriously felt like asking for my money back.

the showboat also offers guests shuttles to the group hotels which is very convient...location is great but to have to pay for parking as guest is not a "perk"

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 115Showboat
The Showboat Casino did not seem very customer oriented, during check in they were very abrupt answering a few basic questions, did not have all the condiments in the bathroom and would not hold our bags after checkout so we could get some breakfest. Valet took forever gettring our car. I would spend the extra 25 or 30 dollars next time and stay at one of the newer casinos.

Great room for the money. We enjoyed our stay there and the price was much better than expected.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 115Great poker, Nice room, food leaves a lot to be desired
We play poker. The poker room is great, right on the boardwalk. The rooms are nice and inexpensive. The only complaint I have is with the food selections. There is no where to get a quick GOOD snack or fast food type meal. Canal St is horrible and takes too long to get your food. Plus it is way out of the way. The buffet was Ok at best.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 115excellent room and great value
This hotel appears to have been recently remodel. We had a king room in the orleans tower. Great view, but there is a high rise going up next door. Room service was very prompt, and excellent. We will be back!
