HVAC needs overhaul

the ventilation blower is much too loud and difficult to control the actual temperature in the room as well. It needs a new system, at least in the room, with an easy to use thermostat and blower control. one speed does not fit all nor does one temperature.

This is a centrally located hotel in walking distance to ocean front, restaurants and shopping. Hotel and quality of service was outstanding

High quality hotel

This hotel is ideally located. It is close to shopping, the Sky Train, restaurants and Post Office. For all we wanted to do on this short trip to Vancouver, everything was within walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in

We traveled a lot around the world, and the only place where we've seen service comparable to the service at the Sutton Place was in a _very_ nice hotel in Hong Kong. The staff were attentive, helpful, friendly, and could not have been more courteous. (The hotel owner is from Singapore.) Our room was very comfortable. We had a suite with a kitchenette and large (> 50") plasma TV. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was very clean (we are very picky about cleanliness), and the road noise was minimal despite the downtown location. We were within easy walking distace of a vareity of sites and good restaurants, and it was very accessible from the airport.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was great-- walking distance to popular shoppping and restaurant area. Very clean.
