Inn on the Beach

Needs some minor improvement

The hotel had a good view of the beach. The hotel was older and could use a little maintenance. The bathroom had a bad smell. Other than that I was satisfied for the price I paid.

Get what you pay for

They are still doing improvements but it looks as if a off the street handyman is doing them and not someone who cares about quality. We had a new a/c in the top floor room but it was put in incorrectly so it leaked and half the floor was wet. Bathroom fan did not work and the door had looked as if it had been kicked in and then rigged to work again.

Good value for the price

Location was good & a nice breakfeast included. The carpet in our room was a little stained and the blinds were missing a couple slats but overall good value for the prices. Beds were very clean & comfortable.

You get what you pay for.

The hotel has a fantastic location on the beach, and the pool is nice. We met nice people there too. Those are a plus. It seemed to be a place for families...not very quiet. We got the room just for two nights to make use of the beach, pool, shower and changing. We did not stay the night...I don't think I'd stay there to sleep. The beds are very springy, linens and bedding seemed old, as well as the decor. This is a very average kinda place that is in a condition of updating and repair. Elevators were out in various locations during the time we were there and it was apparent that they were making renovations (painters and repair men everywhere). If you need a cheap place and don't care too much about the room, this is for you. You can't beat the beach!

Needs improvement

The bathrooms are very small and the hotel staff would just enter your room without announcing themselves. The location is fairly convenient to most things.

the hotel is a nice place, unfortunately we first had a room with no working A/C, so they moved us to a room that the A/C worked but leaked into the room, had no microwave and no telephone.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!!!!!!!!!

The only GOOD thing I can say about this hotel...is the view was awesome. But that is cause you are right there on the beach! The workers were not friendly at all!! They wanted you to reuse your towels....no way!! The room was nasty. The bathroom and tub were terrible. They need to do some serious work on this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone!!!!

"Great room for the money"

I really enjoyed my stay and it was well worth what I paid to have an "oceanfront" view of the ocean. It was also great to have a breakfast each morning.

Needs improvement

When we got in the room the sink was clogged and the tv did not work. I called for 2 days to get the sink fixed and tv. The sink went so long it was filling up with water, my husband had to turn water off so ir would not over flow. The carpet in front of the sink was wet.

Great room for the money

I understand a hotel being older, but it wasn't clean. There was a cockroach in the bathroom...dead of course, but huge!!I wouldn't stay here again.

Terrible

well when we got there we were able to check in early... that was the only good thing that happened. The continental breakfast sucked... you had to make your own waffle and you had to pay 4.00 for an omelet.. the staff was rude, took 6 hours to get towels. we never had our room cleaned. we had probably had 50 room keys that didn't work all the time and when maintenance came to check the lock, he couldn't find out what was wrong with it and said good luck with that and left...The sink and tub took hours to drain. i could go on for hours, to sum it up don't go there..... Oh but it did have a great view from the balcony
