Hotel was very economical, so you can only expect so much. The room reeked of urine, but they were more than happy to move us to a different room (& free upgrade). The ocean view was exactly what I wanted. They had a free breakfast that was better than most that I've seen. Also had free WiiFii. The hotel was undergoing some remodeling, so it may be better when completed. For the price, it is worth the stay.

Great room for the money

We enjoyed our 4 days 3 nights. It was busy which held up the elevators (to be expected). Great complimentary breakfast every morning my kids loved making their own waffles. We called for towels and they were at our door w/in 5 minutes. Great customer service from the time we arrived to departing. Thanks

Good for the price

The hotel is an inexpensive place to stay and still get to be beach front. Decent quality for the price you pay.

Great location, ok hotel for the price

The bad: The elevator was the slowest I have ever seen in my life! The fitness center had 5 pieces of equipment, 4 of which were "out of order". Housekeeping missed our room one day and it took over an hour to get someone up there to clean. Showerhead was messed up - only sprayed out of half the showerhead. The good: The view was beautiful. The pool was very nice. Good breakfast. Price was affordable. Lots of places to eat and shop very nearby.

Great room, great location, had some problems though

We got to the hotel right at check in time. We were sent to a room on the top floor and when we opened the door there were suitcases and clothing everywhere. We went to the lobby to tell them and waited an hour before we got another room. The key did not work for that room, so we had to go back to the lobby and they put is in an upgraded room for no extra charge. The room had some beer bottle caps laying around, but other than that it was clean and had a great view of the oceanfront. The room was very large so we did not feel crowded.

Outstandking Hotel for the money

I was pleased with the hotel. Only one small thing...the elevator was so slow. The breakfast was wonderful, clean rooms, and very friendly people at the desk.

Fun for the kids!!

The hotel is an older one. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice place to relax since its directly on Daytona Beach. This is the 2nd time my teenage girls and I have stayed here and we really enjoy it. Denise Dunnellon, FL

Great for the money

The outside of the hotel needs improvement but the room are good for the price. I stayed on the 4th floor and they were replacing all the beds so i got a brand new bed which was very comfortable. If I ever visit Daytona again I will stay at this hotel.

Oh well

The hotel workers were very friendly, great location, nice breakfast. The rooms are your basic hotel room, the bathroom was small. The overall cleanliness was poor. I saw some bugs and would not walk barefooted. We had a great time but not sure I woul stay here again.

More than I expected

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They are renivating, but I wasn't really inconvienced. All the mattresses were changed out during my stay, and they are wonderful. The pool was large and heated. The lounge bar on the pool deck had excellent food. Overall I was very happy and will most likely go back.

Great room for the money

If you are expecting the Hilton then you will not want to stay here, if you're just going for the beach and fun then this would be a perfect hotel me and my family had a wonderful time. It was right on the ocean where we stayed most of the time. We only had one problem with our stay and it was because we kept our do not disturb sigh on the door so they were really slow in getting us towels and things.O ther than that I would recommend this hotel to other families that just want a place to sleep and have fun..
