Great price, Great View, Yuck Fleas and vomit! Needs work!!!

The room was okay for a place to crash for the night. View of ocean was great, but the curtain wouldn't open and close without my husband getting on chair to make it happen. Kitchen was nice, but we had to buy a skillet. Room had fleas, owner had just took over and was "fixing it up". They immediately sprayed for fleas, then put on new bedspreads. Noticed that nite the bedspread had dried vomit on the backside of it. Huge amount with rice in it!! GROSS!! We wanted to stay one more night (just because of the ocean) and the room was going up $20.00 just because it was saturday. The room was the same same cruddy place we had been for 5 days why did it rate $20.00 more all of a sudden? The bathroom was so small a tall person couldn't shut the door to use it. The door actually smacked into the tub. Plus it leaked constantly. Pay more and go elsewhere. Or if needing a bargain, Beware don't expect much. Okay for 1-3 days, 5 or more and your over it!

Great for the Price!

The location of the hotel is excellent. Directly on the beach and not too far from dining/entertainment spots. Only problem i encountered was no hot water in bathroom. Had i realized this problem before 1:00 a.m. im sure i could have got management to fix i, but it did not affect my experience.

good hotel

This hotel is in a very good location and the staff had answers to all my questions even if they didnt know the answers they would find out for you and the rates were very good and had a very nice pool area. the breakfast could be better and the rooms need some maintanance on them but overall i was very happy with my stay

Some strange hidden charges

The price posted on Hotels.com is not the total price you will end up paying. There are some hidden fees I have never seen hotels charge for...like parking, for instance. You think that would be included, but it wasn't. The rooms need some more maintenance. Our sliding glass door was off the track and we couldn't get out on to our balcony to enjoy the ocean view. The bar and restaurant at the pool area was great. And the location is great for the price (only a mile away from the Pier). All in all, not a bad hotel but the hidden fees really discouraged me from future stays.

Great Room for the Money

For the price it was a geat room. You are right on the beach, there is a huge pool and a kiddy pool. There is also shuffle board and a putting green. The room wasn't anything fabulous, but the view and balcony definitely make up for it. There is also a refrigerator, microwave, lots of channels on the tv, and an excellent breakfast. So if you don't mind a room that looks like it hasn't been updated since 1989, this is a great hotel!

Good room for the rate I got

The hotel is in a decent clean condition, free wireless high speed connection, but just in the lobbie area. One little problem: They did not tell me what my final check would be at the time of checking out. Little tricky, Now I'm wondering what they will charge me for, and if the charge would be the right one. My recomendation, do not leave the facility until they give you this info. This way you would be back home without wondering..

Better than I thought

This hotel was worth the money. I've stayed in hotels more expensive in the area and this by far was one of the better ones. The room was very clean and the oceanfront view was great. The jacuzzi was definitely amazing but closes way too early for guests enjoying the night hours. Tiki bar was great. The continental breakfast had a great selection of muffins, bagels, cereals, and you could make your own waffles - very cool! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing is when you book online you don't pay the parking fee and that's payable when you check in.

Great Room for the Money

Very nice place. The staff was wonderful and the pool and patio deck was great. They take pride in keeping the grounds neat and kept up. We will be returning. The view is simply beautiful. We had a great time.

Great room for the money

After reading some of the reviews about this hotel I was worried about the quality of this hotel. When we arrived we discovered hardly anything to complain about. It was @ a great location next to the beach. It had a lounge down stairs with a tiki bar. It was @ a great price. Sometimes people just expect perfection when going on a trip. Those kind of people would not be satisfied anywhere. Fact of the matter, it was decent, great views, great price, didnt have a microwave, refridgerator sucked, & elevators sucked. Thanks for a pretty good Spring Break 2009!!!
