Inn on the Beach

needs improvement

Upon arrival we found the staff to be friendly and accomodating. unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. the first room I had, the sliding door would not close. the second room, the slider could only be opened by two of us. there were cockroaches smashed into the wall near the bathroom which were as old as the paint. the closet doors were falling off the hinges and only a few of the tv stations worked. the complimentary breakfast bar on the other hand was quite nice.

Staff was courteous and friendly...after that it goes downhill quickly. Roaches were smashed into the paint which was very old. Closet doors would not close because they were off the hinges. Had to change rooms due to the balcony door not closing. The door in the second room would not open. Quite frankly, I felt like I needed a shower when I left. I would not recommend this place to enyone!

Just OK

First impression: The lobby was nice, looked like it was recently remodeled. The first room we were given was gross. It was on the first floor, there were bugs flying around and the shades didn't close. After leaving the room to go back to the receptionist, I noticed that the door didn't even lock! We complained, and she upgraded us to a double suite, which was much nicer. It was on the 7th floor, but you can never count on the elevators to arrive, so we mostly took the stairs. The room itself was fine. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a separate door to the toilet. The beds were comfy. The view was awesome, and the deck was nice with two chairs. It also had a kitchen with a full refrigerator, stove, sink and utensils. They had a nice pool area and hot tub, too. Right on the beach, so that's nice. Overall the hotel was just OK. I was there for two nights on business and didn't spend much time there anyway. Just beware of the first floor rooms!

Outstanding view

The view is breathtaking. Loved sitting out on the balcony watching and listening to the ocean. The front desk people are very friendly and helpful. We were able to use the computer in the lobby many times and has a good but simple complimentary breakfast. Very affordable. I would recommond this hotel, we will be staying here again.

All rooms great view

The location and view of this hotel is tops. The hotel is just starting a remodel can not wait for finish for will stay again.

OK for the money

The hotel is on the beach and everyone has a view. The beds and pillows were hard. The continental breakfast was sparse. We didn't pay a lot of money and didn't expect much. It was fine on a budget, just nothing special.

DIRTY SMELLY AND FALLING APART HAS A NICE POOL

THIS WAS BY FAR THE MOST RUN DOWN HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED @ I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN EVEN THOUGH THE PRICE WAS GOOD. THE ELEVATORS BROKE DOWN DAILY AND WHERE OUT OF DATE FOR INSPECTION!!!! THE 1ST ROOM WE WHERE GIVEN HAD A SOAKED CARPET SO THE WONDERFUL STAFF (WHICH IS THE ONLY AWESOME THING BESIDES THE POOL THIS HOTEL OFFERS) GAVE US A CENTER ROOM WITH A FULL VIEW OF THE OCEAN ON THE TOP FLOOR. THE "PATIO" DOOR DID NOT LOCK AND THE MAIN DOOR TO THE ROOM DID NOT CLOSE OR OPEN CORRECTLY THE BATH TUB DID NOT DRAIN AND THERE WHERE HOLES IN THE SHOWER STALLS.PILLOW AND MATTRESS WHERE HARD AND BROKEN DOWN I THINK THE BEACH WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER PLACE TO SLEEP!!! COULD BE A GREAT GET AWAY SPOT IF THE HOTEL WAS UPDATED AND KEPT UP. CONSIDER YOUR SELF WARNED SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND STAY SOME WHERE BETTER THEN HERE .

Ok for the money!

You can't beat the price for an oceanfront room.

parking is awful. decent room for the money. should be advertised as a family hotel, the pool area very crowded.
