Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 993Excaliber Hotel
I was surprised when told there was a $7.50 a day amusement tax per room. I do not remember being advised of this when I made my reservation. The hotel Buffet was mediocre at best. The maller food i.e. pot stickers, toasted ravioli, sausage and peppers, spring roll were dry and had been standing for quite a while. The Buffet was not worth the price.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 993Great Room/Hotel for the Money
Excalibur is in a great location on the strip. More family oriented in decor and with a fun theme. Lots of dining and entertainment options. Our room was extremely nice - they upgraded us to a room with a breakfast area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. While it is not as upscale as some of the other hotels on the strip, it is a good bargain for the money and much nicer than other of the less expensive hotels on the strip.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 993Additional fees charged by hotel
They put me in a handicapped room, which means the showerhead was not mounted to the wall and I had to hold it in my hand the whole time I was showering. Also, upon checkout, the hotel charged me an additional $25 in 'hotel convenience' fees on top of the amount I paid through Hotels.com..at no time was I notified that there may be additional fees. And no, I did not use the tv or have anything charged to my room or even have a mini-fridge.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 993So-So
Our room was clean, decor was outdated. The Excalibur is definitely a family oriented hotel, not ideal for twenty-somethings. There are other hotels on the strip that are the same price, but a little more up to date.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 993Great value
Excalibur was easy to get to, quick at checkin, and the room was neat and clean. Location is great and considering the rates of other hotels on the strip, this is the perfect hotel. Will defintely stay at Excalibur again!

When I went to check-out of the Hotel, I was then told there was a $7.50 per day "Resort Fee" that wasn't included in the original quote for the property.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 993GREAT ROOM FOR THE MONEY
Is very close to other good hotels and very easy to come and go from the hotel also the tram to the Luxor and Mandalay really an excellent hotel for the price and the buffet is good enough for the money you pay.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 993Widescreen room
Over all nice place. Have stayed before, but this time was different. In the upgraded room, there was no tub, coffee maker, not even a safe. The curtains had I can only imagine what kind of stains on them. Beds were so uncomfortable, but I think we just so happened to get an unfortunate room.

Still a good hotel, and very nice that guests also can use the gym for free. Nice pool area.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 993Limited Dining
Had some trouble finding the parking lot. Long walk to get into the casino with closest entrance door not obvious. All day buffet for $29 is a bargain if you eat all your meals there. We just wanted dinner but not for that price. One restaurant was closed leaving only fast food options or the Italian restaurant. We went across the street where we had more dining choices.
