The hotel was very nice, room great. The buffet was terrible, not worth the money at all.

Room Was Outstanding - Casino Was Smoky

The hotel room was outstanding - beds were extremely comfortable, shower was fantastic, large flat screen TV, and no noise heard from hall or other rooms. Best room that I have stayed in since Venetian in Las Vegas. Breakfast buffet was very good with made to order omelets. Journey steakhouse located on property was pretty good - waiter could have been better, but steaks were good. Casino was nice, but smoky. Given the quality of the hotel, an investment in better ventilation would make this a homerun.

Outstanding Motel

The room was very nice and clean. The room was also great in appearance. The employees were so nice! I would definately stay there again. The only thing was there was no pool.

Beautiful hotel

The Argosy has everything for a complete vacation, beautiful rooms and so quiet. The restaurants ranged from a coffee shop to a luxury steak house. And of course there is the casino and the spa. We will definitely stay there again.

Best deal in town

At nearly half the price of Ameristar it is worth every penny. Beautiful hotel, gaming area is lively but not over crowded, rooms are excellent. Why stay anywhere else? Posts aboub the smell of smoke are overblown. Smells just like a casino!

Extra Charges

Loved the room; and the shower and bathroom were the most amazing I have ever seen in a hotel; it was unbelievable!! However, we were stuck with a valet charge for 2 days when car was only their for 8 hours; and they parked it right next to the hotel, where I could have parked but they told me I couldn't. It was a rip off, as well, we tried to call local venues, but they charges us $1 per phone call, for local calls, it was ridiculous and not what you would expect for such a nice place.

Nice Place

The hotel was great. my only complaint was the $10 charge for 24 hours of internet. seems kinda stingy to have an additional charge just for a few minutes of email upkeep.
