Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 17GREAT rooms, wonderful service
Decided at the last minute to stay at this hotel, & we will definitely return! The rooms were very big, with luxorious accommodations. The bathroom was SPECTACULAR, with a huge 2-person shower & a separate room for the toilet. There was also a big screen TV mounted on the wall, the rooms smelled fresh, & the staff called to check on us upon arrival. In addition, it was probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever had!

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 17I've had better, but it wasn't bad
I had to drive a little ways to get to restaraunts and stores. So I was stuck waiting for a ride to go get food or pay much higher prices at the hotel. The bathroom was awesome with a huge shower and a rain simulated showerhead directly above you. I would have liked a bathtub and a pool to make my stay more enjoyable.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 17Fun place to visit
We certainly enjoyed our stay at the Argosy. Beautiful rooms! Slots were pretty tight though. Buffet was OK but probably could do better elsewhere in town. Close to pretty much everything in KC (ie World's of Fun, Royals Stadium, etc.)

on a road trip with family and picked Argosy - off the beaten path, quiet, beautiful bathroom ! front desk staff was very accomodating and followed thru on requests immediately. we didnt gamble, but walked thru the casino - not too crowded and looked fun we would return in a heartbeat !

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 17Great rooms but smokey every where else
I enjoyed my room the ambiance and the décor of it.. But it was very smokey in the lobby and of course the casino.. The beds were alright, I've been in better for less. Other than that, everything was great so far.. Just wanna make sure the 50 dollar a day charges have been removed then it's all good!

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 17Wonderful Experience
Our stay at the Argosy Hotel was very enjoyable. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. I was especially impressed with the front desk staff. They were very cheerful and probably the most helpful and accomodating of any hotel that we've ever stayed. The casino is fun and the food at the buffet and Crazy Olives is also very good. I'm sure that we'll be a return guest.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 17Great room for the $$
The hotel was very nice, with one exception, we thought the halls and open areas were smokey...beyond that it was very nice.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 17Very Nice Hotel
We Love the Argosy Hotel & Casino. I have a couple Subjection, The Light in the Bathroom is too dark, My Wife kept telling me, she wish the lights were Brighter to put on her Makeup. The makeup mirror and surrounding light just wasn't Bright enough. We love the Shower, the Big leather Chair and having a refrigerator some comfort of home. We stay in the Hotel 9 days and 8 nights The Staff was really nice. I really Hated to leave. The Restaurant On-site and Diner were Great. This was a Trip to visit Family in Town. I Hate that the Player Card for the Casino does no hold a Free Hotel Stay for a Year. I normally come to town once a Year. Same Time Every Year. I mostly Play where I Stay.

The hotel was great. Was totally apart from casino so no pressure to go there. Had a no smoking rule for all public areas of hotel. Great place to stay. Will go again soon.

Hotel Staff lacks hospitality & cust. service. Spacious bathrooms, best feature are the Rain Showers w/ faucets in the ceiling and the wall. Crab legs at Terrace buffet were outstanding. They gave us wrong room at check in, then the 2nd room was correct except the carpets were soaking wet, 3rd room was finally correct. Housekeeping came into our room while we were in bed on 2nd day even though our do not disturb sign/light was on. Internet in the room didn't work, front desk said they'd remove the charge. Didn't get an itemized invoice in room on morning of checkout, at front desk during check out I reviewed the bill & the internet charge and the food we charged to the room (that was supposed to be comped because of bad check in) had been charged to my visa. Front desk attendant was less than excited to assist with the problem, after 30-45minutes of "discussion" she figured out that something was wrong in the computer system. Just was not a pleasant experience for us at all.
