Amazing Shower

The Argosy attractive both inside and out, we had expected a few more services for the price. No free valet parking, no bellman, though the front desk staff was polite. The room was very comfortable and the shower fantastic. Would have enjoyed a pool or hot tub but there wasn't one. Being a first time patron of the casino we had expected a few comps as we have received in other casinos but received none. We had to present our card each time we entered the casino and drinks whether purchased in the casino or in the pub were not allowed in once you left the casino floor. My wife experienced the spa and had a wonder time as Stacy applied the body wrap and Princess gave her a facial. Pricey but for a one time event this is an overall nice place.

This is a beautiful hotel. The bathroom is exceptional. We were very pleased with the hotel, food and staff.

Beautiful hotel!!! Would stay over and over again!!

The Argosy is a beautiful hotel and has a great shower!! The restaurants are also good. The only negative is the walls are thin, and our neighbors yelled at each other during the night and kept us awake!! We love the Argosy and the property is first class!! If you choose to use the parking for hotel guests(it's separate), try to park early, because the lot is rather small and fills up fast on the weekends.

The room we stayed in was awesome with a huge bed and an awesome shower! The shower had multiple heads and was huge! This place was wonderful to take my wonderful wife of 10 years for our anniversary! The only down fall might be the location and that is just because it really isn't close to anything else. You have to drive to get anywhere other than the argosy about 15 minutes or more. Highly recommend staying especially if you can get a comp room!

Exceeded Expectations

My husband and I came for our 10 year anniversary and this hotel was awesome! I really did not expect it to be that nice. It was well worth the price. The hotel is apart from the casino, for all that do not gamble much. The staff was very helpful with directions and the driving was very manageable from the hotel. And wives that are picking with cleanliness, the shower was incredible. I actually felt clean in my room and a lot of times I find hotels uncomfortable. Also, this was the first time I have ever had a massage and it was well worth it. Not near as awkward as I thought it would be. We are thinking of bringing the family back next year!

Better Than Average

Our first night of our 5 night stay was uncomfortable because we got a 2 double bed room instead of the King bed room we'd reserved. We were informed that they don't 'reserve' rooms, that room choices are first come, first serve. Other than that unsatisfactory fact, we were pretty happy. They did move us into a King room the next day. The hotel is VERY nice, but it is pretty far away from downtown KC. If you are there to ONLY gamble in the casino and NOT to sight-see, this is a great location. If you want to stay IN Kansas City, pick a different hotel.

One of the Best

From the exquisite rooms with a comfortable bed, flat screen tv, wall of glass for a great view, to black out curtains and the best shower in any hotel I have been to, Argosy Casino and Spa offers a great get away for any occasion. My wife and I have been there 4 times and always look forward to going back for a special occasion. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
