worth the stay

the argosy is a very well maintained hotel, with very curtious and professional staff. the rooms are comfortable and spacious. the resturants food quality is excellent and the prices are within reason for the area. the casino, is kept very clean and well staffed, with a wide variety of games and machines. the only drawback is it isn't open 24 hours all the time.

Rude

Checking in was very rude, our daughter arrived 45 minutes before we did and asked if they had a restroom she could use, they informed her that only if she was a paying guest! She waited in the parking lot for us with her two small children. It was a hot day! They should have let them use the restroom! We had 3 rooms booked with them!

The room has great amenities but the hotel is incapable of elimanating the cigarette smell. The hotel uses excess air freshner to try and cover the smoking up, but it does not work. Makes matters worse.

Very nice

The room was very nice and also huge. It was also nice and quiet. As long as you know that it is not downtown, and pretty much in the middle of nowhere, you will not be disappointed. Great value.

Outstanding Hotel

This hotel exceeded our expectations! To say it is a four star hotel is not even portraying it properly! This hotel is a 6 star!!!!! Employees go above and beyond to make certain you are comfortable and happy! Clean, large rooms...and a bathroom that was HUGE with a WONDERFUL shower! It was by far the best shower I have ever had in a hotel! Room had flat screen tv, fridge and nice views! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Argosy Hotel

The Argosy hotel and casino was a nice place to stay. The value and quality of the room exceeded our expectations. The only issue is that it doesn't really have anything for kids to do. There was no pool.

close to downtown, ballparks and has a casino. what more could you ask for. i wasnt expecting much being a vegas snob, but i was very impressed with the place.

"Nice Getaway"

The room was nice and the shower was big enough for my boyfriend and I to get in together. The casino is very smokey as you'd expect, but they could use better ventilation. If you're a first time customer they give you free money to play with which was nice. We ate at the buffet for breakfast and it was well stocked and the servers were very friendly and efficient. Nice get away for a night.

Argosy Exceeds Expectations!

My wife and I are extremely picky when it comes to hotels and there was not one thing we could find wrong at the Argosy. As a matter of fact, our room made us feel so comfortable and at home. But what really topped it off was the shower! That was two days that I really woke up looking forward to getting into that shower! Great job guys. By the way, we did some gaming in the casino and did fairly well but you have the whole package. We will be back. P.S. I'm in the business so I know what I'm talking about. Great job!
