Needs Improvement

The hotel room was not clean, it smelled very musky, the carpet had stains, there were not enough utensils and the utensils were cheap with blue gingham handles. The lobby also smelled. It took two phone calls to the front desk to get wash clothese....not impresseed with this resort.

Needs Improvement

The layout of our 2 BR suite was excellent. However, it was very dirty and in need of an overall cleaning. The furniture was worn out and filthy. The location was great. I bought a can of Lysol and disinfected the entire suite before unpacking.

Great room for the money.

Nice place for a mini-vacation.

The Camelot was a great place for a mini vaction with my cousin. The balcony was a perfect place to sit and get caught up on gossip. The facilities were clean although it could use some updating. The customer service was great. They even arranged for a late check out since my cousins flight did not leave until 9PM. The garage was interesting. Nice having parking near our room, but it was quite a tight squeeze. It was a great place for the money and we will return.

Great Hotel

Staff was wonderful. View excellent. large rooms, suites and kitchen. GREAT TIME!!

Great location and very convenient to get from the beach and the pool areas.

Our room was what I had expected. However, the only thing I can complain about is that the closet door in our room was off the tract when we got there and it ended up falling on my sisters' head. It should have been fixed prior to our arrival. The cleaning service did not make up the pull-out bed or even fold the sheets but that is very minor compaired to the awesome view, friendliness of the staff, all hotel ammenities were centrally located and easy to get to, everything was clean, and there is a Starbucks right across the street. I will stay here again and again. Also, this hotel is on the "strip" but far enough away from all the noise to be able to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to walk to if you wanted. Thanks for the memories and good job Camelot By The Sea!

Pleasant surprise

I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room, and hotel. The pools were nice also. After I read some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant, but it turned out okay. I would recommend this hotel for friends, it is not really for families. The atmosphere was loud and lots of "drunk" kids running up and down the elevator. If you are between 18-30 this is a good place, but for older people with children, I would not recommend.

Loved It

Overall, I would say that this is a great place to stay if you have the money. It is a little pricey but it's well worth it. I found out all the rooms in this hotel were oceanfront and our room had an amazing view. The parking garage they had there was very convenient if you needed to get something and there was always a place to park. The staff was very friendly and helpful also. I had somehow demagnetized my key card and I went to the desk to fix it and they gave me a new one right away. I would definitely stay here again. It was well worth it.

Great for the Money

The room met every expectation I had. I would definitely stay there again. The air went out in our room, it was repaired in a matter of minutes. Service was also very prompt. Love the ocean view. It was my first time at Myrtle Beach and the Camelot made a trip to remember.

Nice for the price

The hotel was a great place to stay at an affordable price. The staff was really nice and the environment was very welcoming.

Nice hotel, great location

The location is outstanding, right in the middle of everything, but it doesn't feel crowded. The hotel is nice for the money, and we had no complaints regarding cleanliness. The parking deck area and inside corridors seemed a little dingy, but not easy to overcome with a 7-story parking structure attached to the front of the hotel. The staff was friendly enough, but there were lots of unfriendly signs posted all around and definitely did not feel welcoming.
