"Needs Work"

The elevators were horrible. Buttons didn't work and you would get stuck in them frequently. Hotel is located in a seedy part of town. Wouldn't be so bad except there were homeless people constantly begging right outside the front doors. Didn't feel safe outside of hotel at all! Rooms were comfortable and clean.

good stay

Nice location for Browns and Indians, neighborhood is a little desolate at night. Decent price for the area and well kept rooms and really comfortable beds.

Good hotel with GREAT location

Extremely close to Progressive Field. Best hotel if you're going to an Indians game. Front desk was extremely helpful and courteous.

easy to get to. right next to progressive field. 15 min walk to rock n roll h.o.f. and browns stadium.

Excellent for Tribe games

Hotel very clean, bed very comfortable. Little pricey, however, great for location for dinner prior to evening game and outstanding for Progressive field! Really enjoy our stay.

Good location for baseball games

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend to go to the Indians-Yankees game. It was a quick and easy walk to and from the game. It was several blocks from the main area of bars and restaurants, but it was an easy walk. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. Although parking cost was a little high, the lot was conveniently located directly behind the hotel. Overall a great stay!

Excellent location for sports and sights, good price for the area

Room was clean and didn't have any problems. Was on the 9th floor and had a great view of Progressive Field. Very short walk across the road to get to the game, and there's a gas station right on the corner that has cheap enough beer ($1.50 for 22oz). Apparently Ohio quits selling at 1am though. Lots of baseball fans throughout the building and area. Go Tigers!

Great Hotel, just one complaint

I've stayed here often and have generally been very satisfied. My only issue was that no morning papers were available. Only 10 local papers are available and they were gone by 7:45 am. Papers are delivered to rooms Monday through Friday, but evidently, the weekend guests are not considered as important!

A pleasant suprise HGI is close to E 9th St and is a great little hotel

Nice for price

We really liked the hotel bar - Harvey's. But - that could be because other people staying at the hotel were down there and we all just had a great time.
